Question on my Nissan Sunny....

Hi all please help,

Recently just get my NS 1.6(Auto). One funny thing happen to my car,

1) First time (when i get the car) pump in full tank when the fuel meter show 1/4, but only 25 litre.

2) Second time pump in full tank when the fuel meter show 1/2 tank but only 15 litres.

Why? Meter problem? NS only have 30litre in full tank? or???

My FC still acceptable which is about 11~12km/l.

Please help...

New car rite? i tink its really da fuel meter got prob... go check.

maybe it is the structure of the petrol tank. Don't worry too much.
if the needle is to move there should n't be any problem with the sensor.

THanks a lot.

Sunny has 50L tank. But top light bottom heavy.

I.e. on 1st mark, usu only use up 8L of petrol, next mark about 18-20L...the balance 30L is at the bottom half.

When the light lights up, u will still have abt 10L more.

Not to worry too much, its like that for sunny ...

You means when the meter shows half tank, its only use up 18~20L lah?

Today i pump full tank when the meter left less than 1/4 (Near E). Only pump in 34 litres. Still a bit cann't accept... Very Happy

I have another question. For the First 5000km, is it totally free services or need to pay some amount.....?

thats strange. i got my sunny a few days ago. However, i travelled another 20.1km when my fuel gauge lighted up.
