Depending on your luck, your car... and yourself bro. By the way, what's your objective of driving without stopping? What if you were tired? It would be dangerous. What's your ride anyway?Originally posted by law8angi:Have anyone experience and problems after long distance driving without stopping?
BTW, how long is long?
Any solution?

If your car is in good condition, driving to KL shouldn't pose any issue. Take note of Water, Engine Oil, Clamps and beware of thief.
A typical car will require around 2/3-3/4 tank for a single bounce to KL.
Stop if you are tired and drive at your comfortable pace. look out for some crazy drivers.![]()
Yes, it is cheaperOriginally posted by Rockhound:no more using that account..so using this.....
socks?....cheap over there?
actually the fine is quite cheap leh...only 75 dollars....and u can also test NOS there...Originally posted by mn dreamer:Hi,
If i drive up to KL, I would normally made at least 1 stop. At Air Keroh R&R. My average stop distance will be at every 200 km. Just nice long distance. Upon reaching KL, parked car at hotel than go shopping n whatever using their MRT. Safer and faster this way. As u know, KL is notorious for traffic jam.
However, if I drive further north to Penang, I would also stop at Air Keruh, then drive up by passing KL and using the Cyberjaya Highway upto Rawang n stop. Then I would carry on until I reached Tapah. Real rest over there. For this type of trip, I would normally leave Spore around 7 p.m. Reach Tapah around 3 a.m. Sleep in the car. Wake up in morning, then carry on with my journey until reached Penang around 10 a.m. or so.
Yup, I agree, driving in the nite is much cooler and more comfortable. One thing very very important to take note, don't act ya ya over there! My wife doesnt have a DL, so I drove solo.
Upon reaching Penang bridge, take precautionary measures and drive defensively. Two lanes and I felt that it quite narrow. As usual, you know, Malaysian drivers. But one thing I can guarantee u is that the scenic view from Penang Bridge is classic. TOL at Penang Bridge is one way only.
The feeling is totally different when u drive up further north. U dont see Spore cars. So u can expect u r the only one Spore plate. On my several trips up there, I only saw twice Spore Registered Car.
For those who are new to Malaysia Highway and especially those who have light right leg, open your eyes big big, see any oncoming vehicles on the other side of the road. If u see 2 3 cars flashed their headlight, better slow down until u stop at the police road block. The police road block maybe as far as 8 km away. So, if u happen to see road block on the other side of the road, do flash your headlights to warn others on the other side of the road.
Try it, it will be fun. On your back from Penang, do stop at Sungei Perak R&R. Plenty local fruits to buy and very very cheap he he!
CHEERS!
Before long distance driving it is good to make sure your car is in good condition. Do a very proper inspection first before you make your trip.Originally posted by law8angi:Have anyone experience and problems after long distance driving without stopping?

spend 75 bucks to test NOS? 75 bucks can pay for a full tank of petrol to come back from KL and pay for the toll along the way. and if ur engine blows/ car crashes while u are testing, u can be assured of spending 200 more bucks for a tow truck back to sg. thats a dumb way of throwing ur money away.Originally posted by ceecookie:actually the fine is quite cheap leh...only 75 dollars....and u can also test NOS there...
Wad about the towing service? That's the problematic part, aint it?Originally posted by tailslide:spend 75 bucks to test NOS? 75 bucks can pay for a full tank of petrol to come back from KL and pay for the toll along the way. and if ur engine blows/ car crashes while u are testing, u can be assured of spending 200 more bucks for a tow truck back to sg. thats a dumb way of throwing ur money away.![]()
Every 400m there will be one tow phone. But you have to wait at least for an hr or so before they reach you. Well by then I do not know what may happen to you.Originally posted by deathscythe99:Wad about the towing service? That's the problematic part, aint it?
