Honda civic at $180 a mth??

Have u all seen ads in newspaper which says that they sell 92, civics at
crazy low prices from 200++ a mth. I even called up the guys and they calculated and is arnd tat price a mth. Hidden costs?? anyway.. is it advisable to get a 92,civic? -
i think they did not state the paper or COE value, which means the monthly repayment is only for the valuce of car only. pls verify with the dealers

These are probably 92/93 Honda Civic with renewed COE at 18,111 !
not worth it as will give quite a bit of problems as over 13 years old,
At today's new car prices, or even resale mkt, more worth while to get a 1-2 year 2nd hand car.
also note that u will have to pay more for tax.. Also Honda Civic track record of safety is not too gd leh.. Especially u could modify the Esi to Vti easily over the casueway. -
if really 180, who will buy motorbikes....

i tried calling the newspaper... they reassured me that it is 170/mth... no hidden cost or gimmick... but when i went down, they painted a different story... they tell me 170/mth is achievable with 10K deposit ??? CRAP!!!

Yah la quite true la.. cars cant be so cheap de la.. but really like older model cars hor.. they look so tiong compared to modern drives nowadays.. look much more fierce.. any1 here thinking of getting '92 cars like civics etc....

i accompanies a fren down to check out these deals too..... normally the cars they advertised r really a heap of scrap metal... just to entice u to go down to see their other cars.... which r usually more expensive.... its like wat they do in sim lim.... u go in to see 1 cheap model, they will start to tell u here no gd, there no gd and to go for another model..... n those cheap instalments r not genuine..... so be careful n dun get trap by them.....
