can anyone enlighten me on the coverage of the third party insurance, like in the event of an accident, what is the excess amt that I would have to pay

that will depends on the terms and conditon of the insurance company what you sign with

what I dun understand is the third party insurance include dmg coverage from accident?

do third party insurance have something like 2k in excess when having an accident?

for third party insurance...the company will only pay the other party involved. All repairs and damages to your car is incurred by your self.

The company does not cover anything for you at all. Thats why its called 3rd party.

If it's not your fault, then the other person's insurance pays for your repairs and his.

yupz.. not your fault the other guy will pay.

normally pple will buy comprehensive for cars. unless no choice and not offered then get 3rd party?
