How do you guys check the break fluid?
if the break fluid is low/finish where can I get it refill? and normally how much will it cost and takes to refill it?
Please help asap coz my break is VERY ineffective... -

look for a cylinder stuck against your firewall with a cap. there should be top and bottom marks like your engine oil dipstick. juz make sure the fluid level is in between. brake fluids can be bought at any petrol kiosk for under 10 bucks. you can then top up the fluid urself at zero cost.
IMO, brakes are ineffective due to several reasons and low fluid level isn't one of them.

if handbrake down light still on = low brake fluid level! quickly go petrol kiosk buy brake fluid to top up. if unsure get attendant to help. unsafe to continue liddat.

this morning when travelling along e road, when I try to stop, I usually need to depress my break real hard.. ending up the tires got lock.. any idea why is that so? in e past, it isn't lidat..
In e past, I just need to depress the break slightly and it will eventually stop the car, but now I need depress it so hard untill the tires got lock b4 I can stop in time OMG
really need help/advice coz I totally got no idea on what's going on? is it b.coz of the insuccifent of braking fluid or brake skin gone case?
please please help... really trouble about this -
like dat better dun go to petrol kiosk. better go straight to car workshop to c whether its your brake system got fluid leak or vaccum leak or simply got low brake fluid.

soft brake feel can be due to air build up in the brake hydraulics or brake fluid leakage (dangerous! can finish all ur fluid in a few stops). -

ask one of your colleagues who drives to check 4 u first lor. if really fluid low then go petrol kiosk to top up try c how. but eventually still muz monitor whether ur fluid level keep going down or not and whether the braking prob persist. so in the end, lppl, still muz go workshop to check -
OKOK think I post abit wrongly just now...
in e past everything fine... brake working conditional perfect..
but yesterday when the hand brake start to light up den the braking effect start to get from bad to worse.. yersterday still working fine.. but not that good already.. this morning worse.. the brake seems very very very soft... I really need to depress HARD untill the tires got lock den can stop..
so is it partly due to e low braking fluid or my braking system faultly liao?
coz just service the car some time ago.. -

To my knowledge, unless your brake fluid is leaking, your brake fluid should not fall in level significantly. However, your brake fluid level is also dependent on the wear of your brake pads. More wear, level drops. Change your pads, everything should be ok.
Go to a decent workshop to get your brakes checked. -

continue to moniter the level of brake fluid, engine oil level and coolant level in your radiator every morning before you first start your engine.
If the brake fluid drops after this week by a signifance level, then ur Brakes might be leaking or your master pump spoiled. -
your car juz serviced somemore rite? yet another case of lousy workmanship from official distributor.........
u better pray no leaks in ur brake system. very seldom can drive until no brake fluid one. not tightening a nut is easy to fix, but a broken pipe is difficult to find........ -
sigh.. dunno how to say also.... hopefully everything alright and could last until my next serving appointment muahhahaha

Good that your prob is solved FOR THE MOMENT. It does not explain why your brake fluid drained to such a level. Might point to something more sinister.
