Got picture... Read today's (20th April) newpaper... It's in there... Or do you even read newspapers at all? There was a preview in yesterday's (19th April) paper... You would have seen it too...Originally posted by iveco:NPNT
I'm not in Singapore at the moment. Furthermore, ST online charges people $$ just to read the news. I rather go for CNA instead, but then it had no news on the Rextons yet.Originally posted by LH83:Got picture... Read today's (20th April) newpaper... It's in there... Any way the current SAF new MAN 5 Tonner comes with air con.. my unit driver run the air con thru out the nite and sleep during field camp and the engine overheated!!Originally posted by SBS9611D:Wow, does that mean air-con comfort for Rexton drivers in future? If that's the case, that's great.
Ok... My bad... Anyway, the SAF is considering a few models. Not that SAF and Land Rover parted ways, the Rovers are 20 yrs old liao... time for a change, and if they contract the vehicles out to private companies, they save a hell lot on maintenance costs. Then when they need the rovers, they'll request them back from the private companies. That's basically the gist of the report.Originally posted by iveco:I'm not in Singapore at the moment. Why SAF and Land Rover parted ways? Defender chassis no longer in production?
Will you go to war in a Rexton or a BMW X5?Not me..Originally posted by AE86tofu:seriously i find them very impractical....the land rovers suit best for carrying small stores....SUV just wont cut it...imagine tearing the chairs etc from dragging the stores out of the SUV....something which i dun think anyone wants 2 happen....land rover is more robust IMHO...and frm my experience
