  haiz, recently abit headache.. thinking of changing new car, but then now i got an old COE car, thinking of scrape the car but have to come out at least 5k and above.. and i dun have that much of spare cash with me..
  
  i need some advices, how to get rid of this car?

  You can try selling the car yourself............
  
  In this way, you still have a chance to minimise your losses.........
  
  However, i will not advise you to change your car, esp since now that you got not much spare cash.........

  Nowadays it is quite diff to get rid of second hand cars... as new cars mthly installments are almost on par with those of second hand. You see how much you have to top up lor... and do your calculation. If the top up is not much still okie....
  old cars are alittle bit problematic especially when air con is concern.

  What so bad about your car? At the age of 14, it is consider Old for Mitsubishi? Anyway, seems like car is 1 of those "investment" that you can't really switch at ease. General advice is to continue driving it. Meanwhile you can try to test out the market value of this car.
  
  Seem like about 15k++, is it enough to cover your loan?

  thanks for the advices guys.. actually this car not bad.. engine silent and not giving me any air con or wat problem... the last problem i had was 1 year ago where the manifold corrode and the pipe all came out thus engine over heat.. up till now still ok, but recently got white smoke come out of vehicle when i am warming up engine and when moving off on the road...
  
  i heard fren said its due to piston ring spoil so it will burn engine oil and thats why whote smoke can b seen coming out... is it true?
