Vehicle towing

  Hi to all mechanics, engineers, car enthusiasts.
  
  Xiao di, I, have a question to ask: How can I find out how much weight my vehicle is able to tow?
  
  A few areas of considerations that comes to my mind:
  1) Wheel tractive force
  2) Max engine torque
  3) Strength of tow bars, pintles, accesories.
  
  Besides considering the recommended tow load given in the vehicle specifications, is there a way to calculate what is a vehicle's maximum tow load?

  There should be specs in the vehicle user manual. Check it out.

  I often wondered if its relaly legal for a person to tow anotehr car.. meaning a normal car towing another.... i doubt its legal my friend.
