can anyone tell me how long to take driving test and get licence and can i don take all the lessons?? i just go for the theroy test and the pratical test?????? can i ???????

I presume you're learning under school?
If so, you must attend the 4 theory lessons, it's compulsory and you must pass final evaluation for both theory and practical..
The minimum time to complete the whole course before you can book practical test is about 2 months, assuming you attend practical lessons almost everyday and you're quite a fast learner, and your theory everything must be cleared within 1 month. It also depends alot on the availability of slots...
Lastly, the waiting period for the prac test is about 1 month, subjective to individual school's schedule... You can check out the schedule on each driving centre's website.
If you're asking for private learners, I ain't so sure anymore.
There is no short cut at schools, everything is systematic and structured. -
From what i understand, u cannot just pass your theory and go to Practical test... Nvm u might already drive well
You would still have to go tru your driving lessons...
if you re in school, u have to pass your final theory and complete module 2 of your driving lesson to Book for TP...
To save time you should:
1. Book for your theory test now. ( waiting time about 3wk, results in 1 wk)
2. Quickly complete module 2 of driving lesson, so book like 2 or 3 lessons a day.
3. Quickly get the final theory and module 2 done, cuz TP waiting time for skool is about 2 mths+.

i guess u need to stay in aust for more than 6 months or a year before the government allows u to convert and drive in singapore.Originally posted by LH83:Can.... likewise, singaporean having international license must still drive in singapore w a singapore driving license. hope it helps

total i spent to get license is 1.5k, spent 6mths

i got mine abt 4 mths, S$1k. From basic theory -> Advanced theory -> practical -> TP.

eh not sure singapore license can be considered international. but i doubt it is. wat i mean is if u r a singaporen w an internatinal license like from canada, u cant drive w it in singapore. singaporean need to drive in singapore w a singapore driving license.Originally posted by LH83:Tot Singaporean driving license is international already?
