  Hi,
  
  I have a set of amplifier and crossover. It is possible to set up the system for home use instead of in the car? Anyone with exprience?

  yes, can but u need to get the "AC to DC " convertor...bout $40+ can get a not bad liao..at sim lim tower basement

  In Options Plus mag, they normally review incar systems (amps + speakers) in a living room setup. They even mount the speakers into custom bookshelf cabinets.
  
  And yes, they use an AC to DC step down transformer to power. My dad used to have a car battery charger device which supplies 12V DC. Should work.

  also add in, u may need a voltage stablizer, cos when u on loud loud, the current drawn from the AC/DC convertor will drop, so will cut abit, it may also spoil ur things, best get some capacitor to hook up to tahan as well...
