the light blub for my 'D' gear indicator on the dash board and the light blub on the one of controls panels have blown. I guess it is wear & tear as my SUV is 6 years old liao. SUV suspension a bit hard so I think the years of hard bumps caused the blub filament to shatter.
Very irritating at night when you on the lights and one part got no light.
I asked C&C to replace the blub and it is expensive man!! Never expect bcoz its such a small thing.
Labour for a start $55/-. Then $5/- per blub.
The man there told me it can be done myself if I know the technic. But if I slipped or pull too hard, that's it...need to buy a new dash board!
Ask a few car accessories shop, and they did not accept the job as they have never meddle with my mini SUV before.
Anyone can recommend any shop who knows how to change light blubs for dashboard and control panels in the upholtsery area?
when u go servicing ask your mechanic or servicing center to do it for you.
For servicing center they will do it out of goodwill when you go for servicing.. as labour charge is already accounted for...
