Not sure? Next time slow down a little when you approach a traffic light. I have heard stories about poeple e-braking before a red light and end up facing the traffic. Quite dangerous.Originally posted by Steph84:......

It's more dangerous if you stop so suddenly... the car behind you might not have enough time to brake... then it might hit your rear... if you're within one or 2 arrows from the light and it just changed to amber, then speed up and go through... most probably will make it, unless the light changes very far... as long as you're past the stop line before it turns red, you're safe...Originally posted by wbucket:Not sure? it also depends on your car speed. if you are on the 1st arrow and driving too slowly (like 60) you will not go through in time. from personal experience, i feel it is safer to use 2nd arrow as guide.Originally posted by carmour:What Praetorian111 said is right. Take the 3 arrow markings on the road as the guide. But I would advice you to step on the accelerator if it flashes amber when you are within the 3 arrows. Get flashed by camera is a freaking 6 or 12 point deduction(not too sure how many. Just know is a lot).
yea man... saw this before too. damn funny lor.... but lucky that time the road not much car.Originally posted by route:dont worry too much about it, woman drivers already have got a bad name.
yours is considered nothing...
around last month at about 6.50am at PIE.
got a champion woman driver missed the exit and tried to reverse back! made a whole row of cars jam brake! i almost hit the car in front.. luckily wasnt tailgating
The amber light flashes???Originally posted by zulu4:i slow down when approaching junctions to avoid this problem.
my car would then be slow enough to halt before the stop line if amber starts flashing; also, no fear of being rear-ended as the car behind would have noticed me slowing down and thus would have either switched to the lane on my right or slowed down as well.

if u follow a safe distace it shld not be of much prob unless ur brakes are cranky oredi..Originally posted by ditzy:If you ever do that again, better check your rear view. I don't want to be behind you.![]()
