Fuel consumption for Nissan Sunny EX 1.6 M

  Hi Guys
  
  Would greatly appreciate if someone could tell me the FC for the above mention Sunny. The sale engineer telling me that it can reach 11-13 Km/L for manual is that true ????? As I know Sunny is a drinker

  FC abt 11km/l plus for normal driving... cannot hit the claim 13-14 one...
  got 11-12 very good already. Can go as low as 10 depending on ur driving style and traffic condition.

  mine is on 10 atm, EX M, but then i'm still running in. doing second tank on the car only.

  When my dad drives its always 10... him heavy footer plus he's doing all the city driving. When i drive its always leisurely, expressway... so 11 plus

  Wa, this car really a drinker, even manual also cannot get more than 12Km/L, hope I wouldn't regret after getting it.

  I think there is no different on the engine, accept the interior design. EX model only have black leather to choose, but for the SS you can either choose black or beige colour leather. I think there's some wooden grain decor for the SS model as well.

  well, have u ever sat down and calculate how much u really "lose" over ten years becos of poorer FC?
  
  unless u do 40k kms per year or something like that, then i dun think u need to worry lar.
  
  anyway i'm on my second tank now, 11 km/l liow. STILL running in! ahhaha

  Just ask my SE to include VKool on my coming Sunny, But she insist me to top up $400. So is it worth topping up $400 ?????

  Depending on which v-kool package...
  UV70 cost 850 and Premium cost 1050 for sunny...
  Mirage also cost ard 850....
  so if top up $400 i think it is worth it

  I've just gotten a new Nissan Sunny 1.6 EX Manual last week. When I took delivery of it, the fuel tank was half full. So I drove till it's left with one quarter and pumped it full with Mobil 95 and reset the trip odometer. Drove till around 450km when the fuel low light came on. When I re-fuelled, the distance is 457.1 km and the amount of fuel used is 36.69 L.
  
  So my fuel consumption on my new Sunny is 457.1 divided by 36.69, which is about 12.5 km/L.

  Your FC will not be as accurate if you use this method. To better clock your mileage, follow this:
  
  1. Top up till full (till the nozzle stops filling). Don't pump in anymore fuel to make it really full tank (This is important for accuracte reading)
  
  2. Reset ODO and drive as usual for about 100 to 200 Km.
  
  3. Repeat step 1 and note down the amount of litres pumped.
  
  4. Check your Km travelled and divide it by the amout of litres pumped e.g. 150/9.5 = 15.8 km/litre.

  Is it that bad ???? I read through some forum. Some are able to reach 14Km/L for manual FL N16

  My Sunny 1.5M can go 13.5Km/l to 14.5 Km/l. 70%Express and 30%town

  The Nissan Sunny Luxury Edition has a really posh interior like those 2.4 litre sedans but I wonder if the fuel consumption is just as bad.
  
  However, the exterior does not seem be be very appealing.

  I got my Sunny EX 1.6 Auto last month, the FC is approximately 11km/L on Esso 5000. I asked my SE abt this and he said this is normal. In any case, I would be quite happy liao if FC can reach 12 or 13...
  
  BTW, Is there a forum for Nissan drivers?
