went for my 10k...(finally!) changed to syn oil n now my marchie is so much lighter n smooth!...cool man! bought my own 0W-40 mobile syn oil.
didn't want to use the brand that TC uses. can't wait to do more n make my marchie fly!!!!!

K Rider suggested going to Johore, via the 2nd link to have durians in his friend's house, followed by a trip to a waterfall and perhaps followed by dinner in Pontian or somewhere near the 2nd link. I thot' it was a good idea but realised some of us might be wary of driving over there. If so I have a suggestion that we meet (say in West Cpoast, MacD) and agree who's to drive over, leaving those cars of owners who might be apprehensive. I am sure we have enough cars. What do you think of this suggestion?
We might even progress to our own 'City Beat'. Who knows? Who's keen?

Sorry for not being able to attend the gathering last Saturday..... Went to JB in the morning and was caught in the jam for 2 hours in the afternoon. I think the JB trip is workable especially if we drive in a group and avoid those 'ulu' places there....Yong Peng town is also a good place to makan....The fishball noodles there are rather famous and they have plenty of durians now.

anyway, carrefour is selling carlube triple R 5w40 API SL for S$29.00/-....
for normal driving like you and me, unless you are driving like a hell driving like some....it is actually value for money at that price..even change every 3 months i also happpy with the price....cheers... -

Try James' Kitchen in either James Str or Lake Str in Chinatown. Always good.
Then perhaps strudels from that Italian place, also in same str. Featured in ST here, can't remember place, only remember taste.

Hey Toadie,
I have installed the 3M film, and tried leaving the car out in the sun for 1 hour.. (i didn't have a choice anyway!). I still feel the heat, but later, i realised that it is because in front, in the driver's seat, the front film of course has lesser IR reduction compared to the back, which was much cooler.
But, it is definitely better, as the heat dissipated much faster then before, after the engine & aircon is switched on! So, all in all, quite happy with it and the customised mats.
48 hours after installation, the rear window film makes everything looks distorted, so i had to drive carefully (cars behind me looked like many lambourghinis & ferraris!!), but, now, it is fine, though the demister lines are now more prominent then before.. -

Glad that you are happy with 3M. Have to watch the distortion tho', will see your car and then comment. Also you are right about demister, it's because they cut strips over the demister rather than a full piece, I think. Also heat gets into your car by IR and also by hothousing, unless you leave a gap in your windows. Will check your tailor made mat when we meet. Thanks

Yupper... Motul is way too expensive but it's of high quality. I don't own a March but my GF does. As for the oil, well... wait till her next servicing which is due soon.. Most likely will be Mobil. As for meetups, shall see if the owner of the car is interested not

Haha, i had also sent my car for the 10k though my mileage's still less than 9k, haha, after having driven for 8 1/2 months - well, considering it's only 10km to and from work on weekdays, hehe.
