Actually if you have $$ and time to burn, there is a 2 day rally course in Australia that teaches advanced driving techniques and gives you seat time driving your own rally-prepped WRC style Subaru Impreza STI.
Cost is abt A$900 bucks last time I checked. -

Most insurance company cover the rex and evo only when the owner himself is driving the car. Reason, insurance premium get higher when more people are cover
those who are not insured found driving a rex or evo and got into accident are not able to claim insurance.
Even when the insurance company cover rex/evo car for all drivers, the owner may also take their NCD into consideration
logically not much people will lend u the car.

Could have sworn there was a link in a rex forum in the past which seemed to suggest it was a 2 day program. Maybe they changed it already or I recalled wrongly -

i havent try it yet, but will definitely try the S15, its my dream car!! keep us posted here if anyone has rented any of his cars.
just found out that he also has a 2004 toyota esitma going for rent at $80/wkday or $120/wkend, and a 2005 jaguar x-type for $100/wkday or $150/wkend. can try too... but still not sure if he is reliable or not since he got a bad rating by another yahoo user for other transaction.... -
