what car do u think fits?

i'm looking at a 70k odd budget to get a car plus ard $500 for fuel. Parking wont cost much. i need a pretty big boot as i will have to ferry my granddad ard(a wheelchair needs to fit in it)

assuming its a regular wheelchair.. foldable type... i think almost any sedan or mini MPV u get would be able to hold the wheelchair..
altis.. vios.. city.. jazz/fit... matrix.. to name but a few.. not a suv fan so im not gonna name 1.. -
altis cannot fold rear sears... neither can vios.
for sedan car, i would say it's kia cerato/ proton gen-2/ honda city - more of latter for fuel economy.
for minis (hatches). picanto follow by colt then by fit. cos picanto fc is best but when u come to comfort, higher specs and good set of aircon colt comes in 1st.
can forget abt matrix, fc is bad. -
if u need to pout a wheel chair. i reommend u not to get a sedan. yes the sedan can hold the wheel chair. but the person using the wheel chair will have more difficulties getting in the car.
get car that are taller and thus sitting more upright like matrix would be much beta.

Altis should be good.
Good FC,big leg area, 1.6l with the size of a 2.0l car.
Wheelchair can be fold into the boot space.
If you get a mini MPV, eg Fit, Passo.
U have to fold down the back seat to put the wheelchair,
therefore, u will not be able to sit any back passenger.
Same with a normal MPV, wish, steam, etc
last row of seat have to be fold down, but middle row still can seat ppl.
SUV should be out for u SUV Noob, as think it is too high to get yr wheelchair -bound grandfather into it. -

I heard the camry front passenger sit and automatically slide outside. the boot is spacious too. therefore 1 stone kill 2 birds... however the price will be a bit high...

wow so according to you guys an altis would be the best for me.. sadly i think its a bit too.. how shall i put it .. its more for an older person i'm just 21 cant really see myself in an altis.. no offence to u altis owners..

Based on previous experience of driving a Honda Jazz, the Jazz seems to meet your profile required.
The Jazz spots a not overstated 'kawaii' jap car look that suits your age. It has a good fuel economy around 14-16km/l, has good ergonomics that most japanese cars are spotting right now.
The seats are very versatile and since the petrol tank has been brought forward from the rear, the floorboard in the rear is flat, giving the additional added space.
tax and insurence should be relatively low for a 1.4l car especially if you are starting out on getting a car.
Only thing about the Jazz i contend with is the firm ride which can be a little uncomfortable in the rear and the CVT which does take out the simple pleasures of pushing the car a little harder.
(Opt for the manual if you are keen, but note resale will only be for the manual enthusiast!!

If i dare to intro I dare to tell u that the car is already on sale in Singapore. Thats y I advise u on the price tag of 73,888. 1.5L VTEC with all the versatility of the Jazz and City. Looks big but is not really as big as an MPV. Just 4cm longer, 1cm wider and 3cm taller than the City. Only 2 problems:

1. Just debut in Japan and meant for JDM only. Thats y only available through Parallel Importers at this point. And have to be careful of the usual nonsense of getting from a parallel importer.
2. Slightly heavy with a kerb weight of 1190kg. That is 100kg more than the City VTEC and 30kg more than the Civic. Engine block is same as City VTEC. So since city VTEC auto is getting around 14~14.5, it's possible this wagon can get u around 11~12km/L which is on par with Mit Lancers and Altis...
Again, its just a suggestion.

was looking at the hatch backs(mini mpvs) u guys were telling me about and found them way too small for me so i thought if i should spend a little more and get a 2.0l car the space should be much better right.. i think the most i can go up to is abt 90k.. any cars that fit i dont really mind 2nd cars what do u guys think?
guess i dont like the design of cars like the jazz, colt and mazda 2 the only hatch i like happens to be the focus but a wheelchair doesnt fit its boot

hey guys went down to ubi today.. what do u guys think.. should i get the toyota wish or the suburu forester both have good space and were going for ard 85k.. ok the forester's fc is ard 10km/l which to me is ok for a 2.0l car.. yr help would be great thanks guys..
