Pandan leaves may help ward off roaches, but personally, I don't fancy stuffing a bunch of vegetables anywhere in my vehicle. I use Wipe Out roach stations.
These stations lures whatever German Roaches (small one) there are in your car, feed them with bate laced with poison. They eat, go back to wherever they're hiding (nest) and dies there. Any other roaches around that comes in contact or eats the dead one, will also die.
Effective.
These stations lasts up to 3 months. Since installing them in strategic locations in my vehicle, I saw NONE so far. And it's been 6 months already. -

1. Spray baygon into the car and leave it for the night... In the morning air the car first before you use....
2. Put the car under direct sun.
3. put pandan leaves.
4. buy baits.
5. kill the cockroaches in sight.
6. remember do not eat in the car. -
These WipeOut stations are available in most general stores, & supermarkets.
In fact, there are many other roach stations by various makers, but I prefer WipeOut. Because they really work.
Spraying insecticide is not advisable as follows;
1) poisonous ( even though the can says harmless to humans)
2) flammable in concentrated amounts over small area
3) trace fumes or odour
4) may damage synthetic surfaces, eg. vinyl, plastics, fabrics..etc
5) one day, you may forget and leave the can of insecticide inside car and park it under direct sun.. explosion hazard. -
so i guess WipeOut and prolly pandan leaves r in order...

Wipeout only has one problem. What if the nest is somewhere so secret in your car that u cant see??? THEN YOU HAVE MANY DEAD ROACHES IN YOUR CAR!!! Argh!!!!!!

Cockroaches are hardy bugs. This fact is recognized world-wide.
WipeOut can eradicate them over time if they're in your car. But a better remedy is still prevention:
>> Avoid parking near rubbish dumps
>> don't park next to lorries, vans, and other crummy old looking vehicles;
german roaches can fly across to your car
>> don't leave the door open too long when parked at the rear of some HDB flats where the rubbish chute doors are - at night, the ground around that area is acrawl with small baby roaches
>> clean and spray shieldtox (make sure other brands you use do not contain petroleum distillate) externally around the perimeter of your car once every two months
>> clean the interior of your car THOROUGHLY
>> DON'T eat inside car if can be avoided
Here's a known fact to share; roahces CAN BE introduced into your vehicle by ferrying things like old clothings, pots and pans that someone has kept a long time but never used, and old books kept in a carton box. Generally, if you ferry a lot of old things, baby roaches are potential stow-aways in your boot.
Search the internet about cockroaches, and you will get to see just how small, a baby roach is. -

I have the same problem as well.
I bought a couple of roach stations, dumped them in the boot, beneath the driver seat....passenger side door pocket.. still got baby cockroaches wandering round at times.... I had a dead one stuck to my car cushions, someone squashed it i think..
they're supposed to die inside the stations right, but i shake and shake the stations, no dead cockroaches drop out.. *sigh* -
About these roach stations:
Roaches are not intended to die in these stations. The stations contain an agent which when ingested by the roaches, will kill it when it crawls away, and remains "contagious" to surrounding roaches that crawls across the dead roach or feeds on the dead roach.
If your car suffers a serious roach infestation, these stations may not be sufficient. You will need to fumigate your car first, then place WipeOut stations in your car.
By the way, how old is your car, and what do you use your car for? How come so many roaches?? -
aiyah....just spray your cum everywhere lor.....then the roaches will be stuck to your cum...in the morning, can just pick it up and throw away....cheap and good....everyday also can use...ayhahahahah....

buy the thing ppl cal" cockroach house" lor..< chinese.
is a piece of lik sticky double side tape but big piece, then cte put some sweets, when they come ,they get stuck to it. it works but...when u catch them, u will be shock tat got so many.
