Lancer or Vios

  Hi all,
  
  I'm a first time buyer and I'm considering either the Lancer and the Vios. Cost wise, both are almost similar.
  
  I will appreciate your inputs on the pros and cons of either vehicles.

  Can you share what are the attributes you would make you groove towards Lancer.
  
  I was looking at the post via the link provided by Larry and I'm concerned of some -ve comments, e.g. loud engine noise, fc of 10-11km/l etc... Also just recently via 2nd hand comments, a other carbrand service technician commented that Lancers tend to have problems after 3 years.
  
  I know there's no one size fits all and I've not made my mind yet. I'm just trying to get a balance picture.
