On your TP driving test, is the tester aware whether you are

taking it the first time or 2nd or subsequent attempt? i heard the tester will be lenient in a repeated test.
I also heard in government driving centres like SSDC and BBDC, if you have spent enough money on your driving lessons and practical tests, the TP will eventually still pass you even though your performance during the driving test is horrible -
I sincerely hope the testers pass a candidate because he is convinced that the candidate can drive properly, and not because it is the candidate's 2nd or 3rd attempt at taking the driving test.
There are far too many hazardous drivers on the road and far too many lives have been lost in the hands of such drivers.

pass on e 2nd attempt ...
one of my instructor told me one of his student passed on her 10th attempt.
tester is see skill n ur reaction to road hazaard. talent oso needed.
if failed mean ur still not so ready to embark onto the eral road life -
My other half passed only on her 6th attempt, and it wasn't even a good pass.

Not referring to anyone in particular, but i feel that not everyone is wired to drive and handle a vehicle safely... for the sake of all road users they are better off in the passenger seat instead.. just like how some people are more mathematically inclined whilst others aren't.

Instead of saying they are more lenient during the second or third round, you should say they are more strict during your first round.

Doubt the tester knows your number of lessons taken cos they don't see your student booklet .. so don't think thats a factor.. I took like 15 lessons and passed my friend has 25 and he failed.. so doubt they will consider that.
I think jus pray for good luck and get a good tester in a good mood..passing would be no problem if u can drive properly. -

it's with regret but abhorrence that i have to post this thread, stemming from the criticism on the lack of safety awareness among singapore drivers on the roads nowadays.but again may i make this clear that i'm not condemning all singapore drivers and i'm bloody aware that this thread will incur the wrath of most people on the road but to those responsible disciplined drivers with good driving records and a clear conscience you may find this thread totally rubbish and irrelevant to you and you folks don't even have to bother about my uncivilised and ill manner languages, and for that matters may i hereby apologize for being uncouth in my criticism and also my f u c kup up english, you folks may label me as ill-bred and lunatic sicko bastard whatever but i don't really care because hurling offensive and abusive remarks is very trivial compared to irresponsible and inconsiderate driving manners on the road and if our manners on the roads are so much ugly and disgusting and disrespectful and fail to portray a civilised image on us, portraying a civilised image in this forum will even make us more hyprocrite, what's the f u c king point??? wake up your idea mann.. oh my goodness what will happen to me after posting this thread, i don't really give a damn, you forum moderators can ban me, track my ip and even issue a warrant of arrest on me, take me to court whatever but let me tell you I DON'T REALLY GIVE A DAMN, nanny nanny poo poo..nanny nanny poo poo....nanny nanny poo pooOoOoOoOoOoOoOo....

aiya no skill also take ten time will still fail la ..... they dont even know how many times u sat for tp (i think so la ) but they will confirm not know how many lesson u took b4 u could book for ur tp ....... they will only put u on de road with a p-plate only when they are sure u will not kill or hurt others or urself ., and also not forgetting destroying public properly like most of us racer boys did to trees and lampost and countless side kerds banging

from wat i know... time slots are random. I had my first and second tests at the same slots. But on the back of ur probational license, it's recorded. Anyway.. even if it's not, I'm sure it'll show on their compputer screens if they realluy want to check you out

I finish, parallel/vertical parking and s-course with no problems.
then the TP ask me "Your 2nd time ah?"
me: "Yes, sir!"
TP: "Ok, go out after the s-course."
me: "Yes, sir!"
me thinking inside "wat abt slope and crank course????"
Then during outside, was about to go into the route....
TP: "dun need go route, turn infront...."
We just go jalan jalan made a big round about BBDC then go back liao.
I passed that day with 8 points. Many were suprised because the TP that took me was one of the more strict ones!

Maybe you are right. First test I got immediately failure outside, zero point inside. Second test, I took all my 10 points inside. Outside zero??? Didn't even U-turn or right turn. overall my driving can say is not bad,only minor mistakes.hope can get a good tester like urs! -
First time I failed. Check back too long, tester ask me what the rear/side mirrors are for. And also didn't keep a safe distance from a tri-cycle. That one really kanna screw until...... yo. i'm new to the forum. This is my 1st posting
Be confident, safety when u drive.
Do not try any stunts during the test.
Juz drive as normal. 1 point to take note is make sure the tester enjoy ur ride.
The demerit points given to u at end of the test doesnt matter. (Below 18points can already) Coz the tester dun mark all ur mistakes, if he does, no one going to pass the test. When he wan to pass u, u will get any points below 20. So the marks u get doesnt reflect ur driving skills.
Dun san xin liang yi. Wan to go, juz go.
Read up the score sheet and u will know wad to do and wad u cant do.
it really easy to pass if u dun try any stunts =)

Nothing is difficult. Unless u dun wan to pass.

I took my test last year. My instructor ever told me to be aware when its clear behind me, there's a high possibility of E-brake. I nvr expect the tester to inform me when he's going to test my E-brake...
