Price of a brand new BMW M3 in Singapore

  HI! Anyone have any idea?
  
  On the road price... that means it should include first year insurance, road tax, COE, registration etc etc.

  i think price should be between 300k to 350k after road tax etc
  
  but it rocks in only bhp coz the Evo has more torque than it..
  
  M3: 395 n/m Evo: 407n/m

  the last time i asked in jan '05, it was $338k for the M3 coupe, $358k for the cabrio.
  
  *edit: price doesn't include first year insurance though. otherwise, all other fees have been included.

  More torque doesn't mean anything... looking at the top speed and hp, I think the M3 can still out run the Evo.. you can check car magazines for the price... it was around $330k - $380k in March, depending on whether you want the convertible...

  i bet the M3 is much more fun to drive because it does not have as much computer assistance compared to the evo.
  
  besides, 343bhp from an NA 3L straight 6 is highly respectable. the evo has so much torque because of it's turbo.

  but comparing prices, The Evo 9 GSR at ard 160k and M3 at 330k++
  i think that the Evo is more money-for-value and if u want more bhp, than u can modd it. If u spent , say, 100k on modds than the overall cost will be 260k and it will have like ard 360bhp after modification.Then same for M3....than u can compare them, 360bhp Evo at 260k ++ versus 450bhp++ M3 at 430k ++
  
  which one will u wanna want in terms of price...
  or if u want to modd the Evo untill it's price is same as the M3 then 2x360bhp=720bhp at ard 430k ++
  
  then u see the overall winner......the Evo is cheap but it's modification base is powerful and u can modd untill crazy without having to spent a bomb on the same modd on the M3

  sides.. u wan mod.. go get a Skyline lah any similar mods done on both cars.. the Skyline would prolly still kick the Evo's arse... scope of modability oso wider on the Skyline..

  the whole point about an M3 is ultimate comfort + luxury. The sport aspect of the car is not all that matters although it is one of the fastest + best handling cars on the road today. The E46 is almost already 5 years old and thus starting to show its age but with the new E90 M3 coming out in a year or 2, that will defaintely be a force to reckon with!

  The M3 is already pulling 343BHP out of its stock in-line 6 engine. Technically speaking, not many mods can get much more HP out of the M3 that's why people usually leave it stock except for intakes and etc.
  
  The only mod (Well that i know of at least) that can add 100HP would be adding a supercharger.
  
  Therefore, yes, an Evo/Skyline/Rex will be a better choice if modification and value of money was being considered. Cheaper + larger HP gains.

  COE ~ SGD$22,000
  
  25,000km is the mileage and the car has never been tracked before. Please PM me for more info if you are interested. Asking price is SGD$230,000 negotiable.

  M3 beats the Evo hands down.Power ain't that important to me as compared to heritage.Besides, who needs a souped up Evo?To outgun SPF WRX?

  Yes, money can buy u fast car, can modify ur car , turning it from a mice to a beast.
  
  However, can $$ buy u "class" . the "classy" feeling when u drive a M3 VS a evo ?
