I am in Japan rite now and got to know the supplier of after market Mod parts. He is asking whether I am interested in bringing in some of the stuff into SGP.Originally posted by zulu4:if u can get them LTA approved, i'm sure quite a number, myself included, will be interested.
i think alot of workshops have probs getting parts from japan, especially turbo kits, certified by lta because of the hassle they have to go through. apparently, in addition to getting certification from the aftermarket part maker that a particular part is suitable for use on a particular car, they actually have to fit the exact part on the exact vehicle before sending the car to be tested by the japan equivalent of the lta in singapore. somemore no guarantee will pass that side after all the work. nobody would have the resources to do all that for each individual vehicle/engine combination unless ur influence is greater than those of barney the dinosaur on kids.Originally posted by diggo:I am in Japan rite now and got to know the supplier of after market Mod parts.
