strictly speaking, all those things which u tot would not kena one will also get u into trouble. this is a common misconception. as long as tp catch u driving with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand not using to shift gear, u are already in trouble.Originally posted by ndsef:I know this topic is probably posted before, but I just want to say something...
WHY IS THAT WE CAN GET CHARGED FOR HOLDING THE MOBILE PHONE WHILE VEHICLE IS IN MOTION WHEN: -
1) it is ok to hold a big mac while driving?
2) it is ok to hold your gf hand?
3) it is ok to fiddle with ur I.C.E. settings?
4) it is ok to bend forward to slot in cash card?
5) it is ok to smoke and hold the cig in one hand?
Isn't it just as dangerous????

True. I got it first-hand from the TP customer service line. If they caught you for dangerous driving while receiving a phone call, whether you have 2 hands on the wheel or not, they will still charge you with hand-phone driving. Thus minor offences like "not signalling when changing lane, S$70", will because 6 D.points and S$1000.Originally posted by Larry:TP reserves the right to stop any vehicle as long as they find u a hazard on the road, be it HP or eating or drinking.
