Drive on Extreme right lane lar...Originally posted by storm_freaky13:Say for example u want to overtake a car on Lane 1 because u are in a hurry, what do you do? Horn? high beam? if u friendly horn (taps on the horn) the car in front slows down because he thinks u just scolded him or something but you actually just wanted to say 'excuse me' but the driver in front read as 'get the F_U_C_K out of my way'?!? how?
so what are the written/unwritten rules to signal to someone? please share happy and horror stories so that people can learn..
Also heard in korea when u turn on your hazard lights it means u are in an emergency can we do that here?
Singapore too. I have a couple who flash me too. I kept an open mind and asked my friend afterwards. He was driving in front and told me he did spotted the speed trap in the opposite direction.Originally posted by ^VioS^:Heh Heh....in msia prob when u see a s'porean car approaching in the opp direction flashing his High beams at you, it probably means he's juz passed a speed trap...![]()
I got a high beam flash too. From a Taxi when he is waiting to turn right. Kind of strange being flash at, so same thing open mind! After found out I was only using the parking light (1 click on the light). Need to do 2 click for the full head light. Actually I found my friend doing the same thing too when he got his new car, anyone else have this kind of experiences?Originally posted by Commander_2224:Then what if say you see that a driver has forgotten to on his/her headlights? What would you do? So far, I have seen my fair share of these...
May I share my opinions of Singapore drivers.Originally posted by storm_freaky13:Say for example u want to overtake a car on Lane 1 because u are in a hurry, what do you do? Even so, I hope readers of this thread would practice the various methods/signals when they are on the road. Would help to let more people know about driving with coutesy. I also learn about right signal for overtaking in this very forum.Originally posted by eurodriver:May I share my opinions of Singapore drivers......

i got a fren whu use his front bumper to push the car in front. (but this was a case that the car was trying to be funny. driving less than 70 in the middle of the nite and a car on my fren left)
Ya, but I use it on some cars travelling in malaysia they still knn stay in the lane like they're travelling on PIE.Originally posted by nick34:the right signal method is widely used is Malaysia![]()
Tried driving at the speed of 160 constant heading up KL ... either i flash or signal right ... 99% Malaysian vehicles will give wayOriginally posted by kopiosatu:Ya, but I use it on some cars travelling in malaysia they still knn stay in the lane like they're travelling on PIE.
Then again if they don't make way due to jams or slow traffic, I just travel between lanes to clear the blockage before heading back into a lane.
Malaysian OF COURSE... they even give way to bikes! I normally use the right signal and they move out of the way ASAP...Originally posted by nick34:Tried driving at the speed of 160 constant heading up KL ... either i flash or signal right ... 99% Malaysian vehicles will give way
Hahaha...... I hated them too when I start driving often. Got 1 fine day kanna piss off by 5 different Merz for a various kind of item. The worse 1 is he purposely slow down (~70kph) just before a up-slope (hogging in lane 1 after squeezing into the lane!!!), then climb up suddenly leaving my Kelisa in the dust. AHole then filter all the way left and disappear.Originally posted by eve2811:personally i find the merz drivers r problematic .. they usually dun signalled their intention but trying to overtake by squeezing in my lane ..wat the hell he is thinking ? So fed up that i got to highbeam him to warn him of my existance..think i 'm transparent wat the F man..
