Is East Coast Park Carpark free???

Well.. just now when I went to park... I went to check out the board. It has this word "Free Parking" which has been coloured over, but I could see it clearly when i went close. There was no other price indication or anything like that anywhere in sight... nothing that says whether it's coupon parking or anything of this. So is it free parking???

All the open air carparks at ECP are free... unless it's the one next to Macs... where you have to go past the barrier with cashcard... that one isn't free... another one that isn't free is the one near the chalets... that one's reserved for the ppl in the neraby restaurant, there's a valet there... the rest are all free... can park anyday anytime...Originally posted by GarretOT:SINGAPORE where got FREE?

Does it include Saturdays and Sundays as well for normally Sundays are usually free parking.
I went there last Sunday (Foodcourt at the Lagoon) in the early morning and saw plenty of cars parking w/o displaying the coupons except for one or two.
In the end, I tore two coupons.
On another occassion, I park along the small road (inside the ECP, somewhere near the chalets) which is next to the highway. Again i wanted to display my coupons until a sports car pull over and saw wat i did, told me no need to display and true enough, i went all the way to check, all the cars did not display any...........and I could not find any signage that says free parking or not................. -
Not free for carparks next to the food centre. My friend got a summon there for no parking coupons.

Looking at the posts... I'd say only those near the expressway are free... any near food centres or other places aren't free...

Some of the carparks in ECP is free. Those next to the facilities e.g. foodcourt, Mac & Hawker center need to pay. If u going to Hawker Center, go the next carpark is FREE. just 5mins walk.

does that mean that those dudes who stay in the hdb flats just an overhead bridge from east coast park can utilise these free carparks??!!
