not only that, cab drivers keep getting into accidents, i dunno why, maybe it's because they like to masturbate when driving, or they like to talk to passengers when driving and forgot to signal, may the chickens fart into their big mouth, i have been eyeing these cabbies for a long timeOriginally posted by AF1:oh i hate drivers who dont signal their intentions when changing lanes.. really irritating when you're keeping to your lane and someone just cuts without signalling.. i notice this especially with cab drivers
that one i close the gap dun let them until they signalOriginally posted by BufPuf:last time when i was in my friend's car and ask him why he always no signal

endangered other drivers n even some pedestrians( saw the man 12 cross, nearly bang by the errant driver) ..issit against laws not to turn on the lights![]()
this caused an accident between my mum's car and a corolla behind us.Originally posted by activator:a point on Taxis... they just stop their vehicle abruptly as soon as they see someone flagging down...though some do put on the hazard lights...but the speed in which they do both is almost instantaneous...so dangerous..so be very alert if u'r behind a taxi...u never know what they are gonna do next..

I think all of us have had our fair share of encounters with irresponsible motorists who do not signal early or worse of all, not signalling at all.
However, i think this problem is rather serious with our taxi drivers.
Could we suggest to the relevant authorities to do something about it?
I read recently in the papers that they are going to introduce this driving refresher course for taxi drivers but i don't think it is compulsory at the moment and it is only meant for those old taxi drivers. Maybe, they could extend this to all taxi drivers?
Not only are they endangering their passengers' lives, they are fast becoming the most unpredictable road hazard to all other road users!
I have nothing against taxi drivers but i really believe preventive measures need to be taken now rather than later for the safety of all road users.
Originally posted by hotxyz2002:dun keep saying taxi drivers lah one reason why we see so many taxi driver do this types of things is because of the time they on the road. for example if there is only 1 taxi driver with this type of habit, but he drive for 8 hours a day. in these 8 hours he does it 50 times( i think its actually a reasonable number maybe even on the low side?) and is seen each time by 5 pple so in the end these 250 pple see this type of things and when they collate(obviously they cant and wont remember the number so that they will be able to match to see if its the same guy) they will say that taxi drivers always do this type of things lor.
