Drivers never turn on directions indicator

hi all, a driver myself but was concerned as saw some drivers whom did not turn on indicators (turn left/right) as they r turning, concern this
endangered other drivers n even some pedestrians( saw the man 12 cross, nearly bang by the errant driver) ..issit against laws not to turn on the lights

oh i hate drivers who dont signal their intentions when changing lanes.. really irritating when you're keeping to your lane and someone just cuts without signalling.. i notice this especially with cab drivers

don't wanna generalise but some cab drivers just damn kiasu won't let you cut into their lane.. i once experienced this cab driver purposely sped up altho quite far just to prevent me from cutting and tailgated me quite closely for some time

Personally, even when they DO signal, I don't trust them anymore. Oftentimes, the signal left as they're approaching, then suddenly just proceeds straight!
Taxis: when you're behind one, DON'T let your guard down. They make unpredictable moves. Never or avoid driving behind a Taxi.
At carparks, when there is someone in front of you, and both of you are looking for a space, don't follow too closely. He/she can just stop and begin to reverse into a lot. Normal practice is to tuyrn on hazard lights (both sides blinking) when you spot a space to park so that people behind you, will know.
This bad habit of not signalling amongst motorists here, stems from selfishness, and pure lack of consideration of others. I don't see any improvments the Courtesy Campagne has achieved our society. -
a point on Taxis... they just stop their vehicle abruptly as soon as they see someone flagging down...though some do put on the hazard lights...but the speed in which they do both is almost instantaneous...so dangerous..so be very alert if u'r behind a taxi...u never know what they are gonna do next..

last time when i was in my friend's car and ask him why he always no signal
den he told me..if car's signal only got say 500 times lifespan..every little thing also signal..sure die very soon..i was like 'duhz'
when driving..i only give way to people who signal..
i hate it when people wan to overtake u..they dun signal..n they purposely drive very close to u..den u duno wad he/she wan and u haf to slow down for him or her -
i especially hate people who want to turn left at a cross junction but don't signal. Then if i'm on the opp side want to turn right or u turn, I gotta wait until this idiot make a left turn, then I know he is not going straight. Bloddy waste my time waiting.

Like I've said; there is NO common courtesy in Singapore.
The lack of manners is very onvious on our roads! And it's embarrassing when you have foreign passengers with you, who asks; "do you all drive like that here?"

i guess too many traffic lights and juncions can make a driver signal 100+ times a day.. and, seeing the public and other motorists so unappreciative of their effort in signalling, ppl just heck about signalling next time..
Singapore drivers are too stressful on the roads with cabbies on hot pursuits, motorbikes on a highway race, thousands of RED lights junctions, traffic jams, Zebra Crossings,cyclists who cycle wrong traffic, heavy road offences summons,"sneaks" traffic police with their stupid cameras and mad woman dashing out to the centre of the road to pick up a 1 cent coin or flag down a bus on the opp side, well, its a challenge on singapore roads. -
I was cycling yesterday on the pesdestrian walkway when i came to a junction. A driver driving his car towards me flashed his left directions indicator and so, thinking that he wants to turn i stopped for him.
But he drove off without turning.....

anyway this morning this black hyundai matrix lagi best. heavy traffic mah..then when the car in front of us moved 1 car length and my dad was starting to move ahead. this HM from the left lane just shot into the space in front of us. 2 inches to collision.

that time my dad was on the left lane waiting to turn into 6th ave, then this car shot right in front of us and so my dad revenge... purposely tailgate him all the way till we went down the slope. even when waiting for predestrians to clear, my dad deliberately drove damn close to scare him.
think i cannot take driving licence liao. because when i encounter such a situation, i will sound my horn at that driver until he pengz

I think all of us have had our fair share of encounters with irresponsible motorists who do not signal early or worse of all, not signalling at all.
However, i think this problem is rather serious with our taxi drivers.
Could we suggest to the relevant authorities to do something about it?
I read recently in the papers that they are going to introduce this driving refresher course for taxi drivers but i don't think it is compulsory at the moment and it is only meant for those old taxi drivers. Maybe, they could extend this to all taxi drivers?
Not only are they endangering their passengers' lives, they are fast becoming the most unpredictable road hazard to all other road users!
I have nothing against taxi drivers but i really believe preventive measures need to be taken now rather than later for the safety of all road users. -

How about car with hazard lights on? That was my experience. You tot the car is gonna stop, but hell no, it's so confusing.
Another has to be the brake lights. For those car owners with faulty brake light, please for God's sake, go and change it! When there is no brake lights, cars behind will not know when the car in front wants to stop exactly and suddenly it just stopped, it's really scary.
