I heard that there is such a car for sale at the VW showroom? Anybody sure about this?
My friend told me that there was a 1.6 and a 2.0 capacity. I wasn't sure if he mixed up the GTi and the normal FSi. He told me he was sure because he himself was told by the salesperson about the GTi.
Can anybody confirm this? Thanks! -
yup.. the vw golf is already on sale and i have seen quite a number on the road too.. there is the 1.6FSI, 2.0FSI and GTi.. but im not sure whether the 2.0FSI is available here tho.. nice looking car to drive around for a price tag of $92800 for the 1.6FSI?

I recommend this sherrie lim. Ask her. I went for a test driving for VW beetle. Thought it will be only take less than half hour for everything. In the end, she spend a lot of time talking to me, explaining stuff to me. Never pushy about sales. Even direct me to another company when I say I want to try other cars also.
I think the VW people very friendy. I like the showroom also, where the test frive car actually drove from inside the showroom to outside. -

hmm.. 150bhp for sucha small light car... shld be a fast car..
the GTi is 200bhp, i guess it'll fly! -
Get the GTi lah. Price difference it really not that much. Stock is about 200hp, very soon there will be tuner that can boost it to about 250hp++++

there will b a r36 v6 for golf comin up n do xpect at least 250 or higher bhp

the R series is the flagship for VW golf, but it will be too costly and over budget for me too i guess.
R36 would probably be one of the quickest and fastest cars on the roads!
thanks for update of price, wanted to go to Cars and Cars on sunday, but the web-site said that their showrooms are closed on sundays, so didnt go down. -
What the heck? Closed on Sundays? If it is really true, then I think they are actually missing out on a lot of potential business

im not a skoda saleman or got any strings attach , but im juz curious why skoda can make it big it europe but not Spore ? and skoda bulit n qulities may not b as good as vw but its a good car . so u can blame mi 2 flavour tat brand compare 2 jap cars n if possible , i would like 2 either drive cayenne turbo or volvo xc90 4.4 v8
