Serious accident... HELP!!!

A friend who drives a Honda Integra was involved in a serious accident at the junction of Tomlinson Rd and Orchard Boulevard just past Saturday midnight. After a brief discussion, both drivers returned to their cars to check that their passengers were OK. Then, the other party drove off before exchanging particulars and license plate number. My friend now needs help in locating the driver so that the case can be settled. He is willing to offer a reward for any assistance or information.
The other car was a red Mitsubishi Airtrek with black front vents and white halogen lights. The front left of the car should be badly dented as it hit the back rear of the Integra, causing the Integra to fly up the pavement.
There was another passing car, a Subaru WRX (SF? 3868, friend cannot remember third letter) that stopped to check if anyone needed any help. The driver of this car may have taken note of the license plate of the Airtrek so if we can get in touch with him it may be of use too.

Actually this case can be considered as Hit & Run case. Your friend should call the police at 999 so that they can road block or look out for that particular car. Even though if no one is injured, they will consider as a case.
For now, it may be to late. If not, you can try going to Cycle & Carriage body workshops and find the car there. The driver may properly send it to the agent's workshop.
And since you have the first 2 letters of the Subaru, maybe you want to make a police report at the TP HQ and giving them the details you have on hand, and since a hit and run, they will investigate and get something in return.
A year or so ago, a car hit my front bumper at a car park. Then it drove away. Don't know a kind soul left a note of the vehicle number on my windscreen. I went to the police station, and they say no injuries, they don't care. But I told them it is hit n run, since the driver did not stop and drove away. They cannot tahan me and make a report. An investigation is carried out and the driver was charged with careless driving and forgotten, still got one more charge. -

this guy has got guts man.. how old does he look like? if he looks young, he probably was driving without an insurance so he freaked out and left the scene haha.. terrible situation to be in for your friend

the description of this red airtrek sounds familiar... ard last week this damn airtrek tailgate me on the expressway and it was raining damn heavily... almost bang car leh... left side no car still tailgate me for wat?
so in the end he overtake me, and his engine super loud, got aftermarket BOV somemore... too bad cannot see his no. plate -

thats call taking the law into ur own hands kid. and there are laws to bring down anyone who attempts such acts of gangsterism irregardless of whether u were rite or not in the 1st place. there is a proper way of handling the situation and ur suggestion obviously ain't one of them. -

yeah, maybe no license. but more obviously coz he was in the wrong and got no b@lls to face the music for banging the other car in the backside rite?

Please report this case to the police and they will handle it. Its 100% a hit and run case.
There was once my friend travelling along PIE heading home was hit by a drunk driver. Banged onto the left side of my friend's car and just speed up as if nothing happened ... My friend gave chase and pull him over to the road shoulders and he was charge in court...

My friend had already made a police report on Sunday morning. Not sure if it is classified as hit-and-run, but they seem unwilling to investigate cos no injuries sustained. Also, he could not chase after the Airtrek cos his car flew up the pavement as a result of the impact and was immobilised. -
The TP should have no excuse in pursuing the matter. At the very least, they should scout resident repair shops and pass the word out on the make and alleged damage to the veh so that those OEMs can feedback should the guy bring his car in. This is a CLEAR case of hit and run. But expect them to turn the case to back to you once they have located the culprit. You can then claim damages accordingly.
The only way he can escape is if he left the country that very night to johor to do repairs and spray paint his car to avoid detection. But that's a worse-case senario.
