its a nice car, very cool and sporty looking with its dark tinted windows.
heard from frens who ownthe car... very fuel efficient for a 1.8L MPV apparentaly can get 12-13 km/L.
it getting more and more popular as you can see so many toyota wishes on our roads now..... -

Toyota Wish in brought in by almost all parallel importers in singapore. You might want to consider Hup Long Automobile. They sell the Wish at the lowest price around. -
Actually juz caught a glimpse on the road juz last nite. i tot for an instance it looks reali sporty n cool. Not mani of them on road though

Man u must be sitting at home and not driving much... the Wish is so popular that it is as common as a taxi,.... every where u drive you will bound to meet a Wish, sometimes I had seen same color and down to the same details Wish travelling along, sometimes 3 in a roll.... looks nice and very sporty.
the only catch is its a parallel import.
cannot service at borneo motors.
anyway who needs them, any reputable service centre is just as a good and cheaper. -
but is it warm in the back?cos wat i saw was only the front air con,no rear aircon,so bit afraid that the front might get too cold and the back would be warm.Also,my dad had no bought cars frm parallel importers before,not too sure it is safe!! haha..but think should be ok if buy frm those more popular parallel importers la! Can visit the above forums for more details about WISH. There are many helpful WISH owners and PIs over there.
I myself is also driving WISH for more than 2 years already.
The claim about the FC 12-13 km/l is truth.
The concern of heat at the third row can be easily resolved by installing solar film which I did. -
Toyota wish, is a ok compact MPV, but serious test drive it first.
I do find the engine is not that good in performance, you will have to consider when you test drive there is just 2 person on board, what happen when full 7 person.
Space for the driver is not good, also the driving wheel is kind of too low. There is no rear air cond . which kind of is very good to have if you use the 3rd row, it can be very uncomfortable for the 3rd row people with out much not just the hear but air circulation, kind of they can get pretty uncomfortable if it is more then 15 -20 mins journey even at night.
I would suggest you test drive the Honda Steam 2.0 also. Engine performance and handling of the 2.0 steam will be something you may want instead. Stream 2.0 have 5 gear (wish 4 only) which is more fuel efficient. -

tinted films are tinted films. UV films are UV films. when u drive, u use the top gear only izit? even in "D", u also have to use the lower gears first before u reach the top gear correct? so wats all this nonsense about lower gears are only for hill climbing/cannot use for normal driving or else car will spoil?

Sorry to disppoint you, but your news are very outdated. You heard from the mechanics ? yes the inital stream does have does have some problem when it 1st came out. But it been kept upgraded over the years by now it is refined mpv. But the news is stay away from the 1.7L stream, buy only the 2.0 L.
haha even a kid cycling know about more gear the better performance ! it is the same principle with bicycle, you are trying to tell people a 16 gear bicycle is better then a 21 bicycle ? try selling that to your kids !
Who would be so stupid to drive 5 gear uphill, even the car automatic system is definitely smarter then you then, cause it will reduce itself automatically and you will not spoil it even you want to. By the way , singapore road is mostly flat , thus very good for 5 gear. -
By the way, 2 of my friend both have stream 2.0 , their even the old stream 2.0 . After that indeed, you can tell a world of different, that why I am driving the new stream 2.0. well totally no problem with automatic transmission. What the point of 5 gear ? by 80km the 5 gear already kick in , so you say useful or not . -
Why the Wish is so popular is people just fall crazy in love with the windows. Those are real darken glass windows, the glass is darkend glass, not film paste on. anyway , the facts speaks for itself which is a more popular car. Judging by the number of wishes on the roads compared to streams..... Wish wins hands down.
WISH is more popular than stream 1.7 / 2.0 . Period.
