Skoda is part of VW group. To me, the Skoda is a watered down version of the Volks. But we have to give them credit. They've come a long way from the days of Communism.

test drove a fabia, exhaust sounds like those in wrc.
metal body is solid clunk sound, not jap or korean type, soft metal.
impressive overall. but higher euro $$$ conversion rate is a damper.
