When see amber light, you "chiong" or prepare to stop?

You either speed up and cross the line or brake and stop before the line. You cannot be on the line.

look ard for speed camera, traffic police....if in doubt stop.

Depends how far and on what speed...
Simple rule.
When you have reached the 2nd directional arrow marking on the road towards the stopping line and your vehcile is travelling at 65 km/h & above, and you see amber light then, don't stop! YOu sure exceed the stopping line into the pedestrian crossing.
Anything before that or lower than that, you can stop in time. -

Ahhh.......thanks for clearing my misconceptions. I thought most of us would answer "chiong".
No, not me.....I don't usually chiong one. I am defensive driver so 98% of the time....will prepare to stop. -
Safety 1st. We were taught to slow down when approaching the traffic lights. But most often in real.. we do the opposite?!

When Troy437 post about the arrows, I was kind of puzzled. Wah, you folks so lucky ley, got arrow one.
Okay, on my home way, I'm going to check if we have arrows but I doubt. Typically, if anything, it will be in the "air" because with snow on the road, si mi de kua boh. -
