the system was designed by poly student i heard.........Originally posted by tomsss:The car park at NUS uses a licence plate imaging system... if you know how to beat the system, which i don't think you can.... then you'll have you so-called "free parking". What? The uni outsourced its project to poly?Originally posted by FireIce:the system was designed by poly student i heard.........
Should tailgate the dean's car.Originally posted by slacker001:an alternative (which is heavily practised) is to park at the car parks, but tailgate vehicles coming out so the barrier has no time to close completely.
Where do you stay? I'm in Science too... Hehe... maybe can tumpang... actually... if you park before 8.30, if I'm not wrong, you won't have to pay for parking there... hehe... that is, if you're willing to wake up so early...Originally posted by daniu82:I am going to the Science faculty... so izzit ok to park there? As i am paying for the season parking ticket for the MSCP near my hse, so not much money left to pay for the season parking ticket in NUS.... No choice have to find another alternative..... Any more reccomendations or comments?
Got free parking why go for season? This is absurd man.. It's like saying you haf a car and you r so damn rich.. so sunday you also put parking coupon?? since it's only $1?Originally posted by foxwalk:what's your problem? rich kid with a car trying to evade the season parking ticket which is already very cheap in the first place. cheapo?
ermmm... no lots means no lots wad..how can you be so sure its bcoz of those cheats..Originally posted by foxwalk:Please do not cheat on parking by tailgating another vehicle that has season ticket!!!
WHY???
Because I have a classmate who had to park elsewhere as the Raffles Hall parking lot is full due to these parking cheats. As she was rushing for lectures, she parked illegally and got her wheels clamped. NUS admin refused to listen to her explanation.
You know how unfair this is???
Last I heard, PGP wasn't free... I had friends try to beat the camera there as well... they just changed the rule?Originally posted by chocobeary:Hey
You can actually park at Prince Geoge's Park Residences (PGP).
The parking is free. (Although they did not state it)
And it's a stone throw away (2 stops if you want to take the internal shuttle bus) from PGP to the Science Faculty.
