What is the most fuel efficient petrol driven car in SG?
Any 28km per litre kind excluding hybrid types? -

Picanto's ultimate best at 25kpl......I think. My kelisa isn't far off though.

Honda City FC also tops...its the same iDSI engine as Jazz except its a 1.5 litre.

i've heard of picanto doing 28km/l...pretty impressive i thought. i'm also looking for a fuel economical car to start off...

Power and FC don't mix, think carefully bro!!! By far the best car to buy if you have FC in mind is still Vios, City would be good but its FC model (idsi) already dis-continue. Let's not talk about "best case scenario" on EC. No doubt can be "done" but I think nobody would drive a car like that. For average drivers like us (and me :p) who on the aircon, normal footing and travels in highway and urban areas.
Honda City gets about 15-16km per litre.
Honda Jazz gets about 16-17km per litre.
Toyota Vios gets about 14 to 15km per litre.
Nissan Latio gets about 13 to 14km per litre.
I dunno about Picanto or the Kelisa but I wouldn't be surprise if it can get 18 to 19km per litre as their 1000cc or less. -
picanto is 1.1 liter....

Vios is tested as the most Fuel Efficiency at philipines alongside with other cars in the similiar categories.

what affects fuel efficiency other than driving style, and sport rims?

A lot of things...
Weight Tyres (including pressure), Aerodynamics Efficiency of engine (Technology like VVT-i) Usage of aircon Traffic conditions (start-stop traffics, expressway driving)
etc... -
The Singapore National Energy Efficiency Committee, http://www.neec.gov.sg/fueleconomy/, has a Fuel Economy Label Scheme for passenger vehicles.

Vios 15km/l??? tt one muz be those very turtle driver lah.. On avrg ppl hit ard 12-13km/l only... Guys, dun give those highway test results pls, lets talk abt city driving, its where we all live in..
