  Am interested to get this car ..
  
  But not sure about the FC, does anyone drive this car care to provide his views on this car.

  Didn't drive it, but heard FC around 10kpl. If FC is a concern, then don't get it. Otherwise this car packs a punch and comes with most the standard features.

  In fact I am ready to buy this car. Am hunting around for the best bargain. Currently Komoco is offering $50,888 for an immediate. That's for all the basics like sport rims, rear spoiler, pioneer cd player, ... throwing in leather seats, reverse sensor.
  
  I just want to check the market sentiments for this car.

  Getz FC is ok ..acceptable .. so u enjoying 100% bank loan ?

  Just park it beside my ride and it will grow significantly. Actually, for budget hot hatch, it is reviewed to be the most spacious car. Aveo losing out because its design somehow restrict the kind of thing you can squeeze.

  ermm ....$50,888 for a Getz with COE? ..gee i still down under ..don't really noe car prices back home..but one thing for sure ..its darn cheap man ...i remember my fren telling me a Honda Civic 1.6L Manual cost $70,000 with COE 2 mths back ..how true is it ?

  Actually... quite alright for a budgetary compact car. I know can topped up another few ks like getting a Vios... or from Vios topped up another few Ks to get a Honda Jazz ...the feeling is endless. So I decided to compare between accent $44,444 and Getz $46,888.
  
  Ended up I decided for the 1.6.

  It's an Auto. Basically have been waiting since 63k.
  
  Anyway, nowadays It's hard to find good freebies if you are not taking up any loan.

  oh ok ..remember, if u decided to sell/trade in car your,u have the outstanding of bank of loan of 10yrs added into your ride price .. and nowaday hyundai depreciation is high. Hope you could get what i meant as i was the victim either.

  oh u made full loan ..is both good and bad unless you going to keep your car till scrape.If intended to sell the market value is not very promising.

  Basically, must say really like this car alot that prompted me to buy.
  
  Someone can just afford a Lexus Rx300, some a mercedes...
  
  Anyway, have been enduring since the 60+ k till now.. so I go for it.
  
  I hope Getz 1.6 would be more better than 1.3 in terms of resale value if I decide to sell in future.
  
  But meantime, I will just enjoy this car.

  Well getz 1.6 L is much more powerful than 1.3 L.
  IF you have a small family ,think getz is suitable for you as it very sporty looking. Very good choice.

  (50888-parf) / 10
  
  I believe yr parf might be ard 5k, so 50888-5000 (for example) / 10 will give you abt 4.5k a yr depreciation or something like that.

  for hyundai, i have shortlisted GETZ and ACCENT.
  
  but my colleague driving GETZ told me not to get it. So my choice is now down to ACCENT. Am waiting for the launch of the NEW ACCENT.

  i believe the price for the new accent would be in the range of an elentra(did i get i correctly?) cuz its a 1.6L

  Like this your choice becomes log-sided because no-one commented Acent to you. Would be best to check out some hyundai clubs to get a more ranged feedback. For all you know, accent might be worse in that colleagues' eye if he had gotten it.

  She says her Getz is a fuel drinker lah . I have driven the old Accent and found it ok and the handling is just nice for me.
  
  Am waiting for the new accent because i think it comes with a new engine. The next round of new Hyundai (Sonata + Accent) should help them catch up with Jap cars in terms of technology. Not so sure about any version < 1.6 .
  
  Nevertheless, personally, I found Hyundai to be more reliable than other korean cars and given the price tag, there is nothing to complain about.
  
  The only odds is the raising petrol prices...

  To be frank, I chosen Accent 1.3 manual too in my first visit to Komoco. It cost 44,444.
  
  But later was brain-wash that If i buy accent now will regret in 5 months time or 7 months time cos the new accent will be out and I will find my newly accent an out of fashion car comparing to the new accent then.
  
  As I am not sure if the COE will continue to dip further I decided to go for the purchase now since I have already waited from 63 k for Getz.
  
  So I choose Getz finally and decided 1.6 instead of 1.3.
  
  I must confess the current hatch-back accent receive a very bad shape-looking from many people I have ask for their comments.
