Eh , get this.... from what i read, it is possible to turbo your car if it is not originally. approval from manufacturer, and some testing body like TUV(germany). alright. So this means you can turbo your lambo, done by TUV approved MTM, just show LTA the papers. haha!!!Originally posted by bo liao:http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/motoring/information/right/modification_guide/modification_allowed_lta.html
u click then go to see....i search for u liao, jus scroll, u see the turbo then ok liao...![]()

In Singapore can turbo charge? Come on....
Can! As quoted above, do visit the LTA web site for more info. Turbo-ing of the car requires tons of paper work, though it might not worth it (might as well get the stock turbo cars, YRV turbo and such isn't expensive), but it might worth some study if someone else had already went through with the testings and stuff.Originally posted by The Twins:You aske silly questions of course you will get silly answers.

Also as stated in another thread about max speed in SG, people are doing some un-believeable speed at who know when and where!
True. But this is a much better reply than the first one.Originally posted by The Twins:Even if someone had done the paperwork and tests before, LTA will still amke you go through it seperately, emission test is the most difficult to pass, you need a good engine management and tuning etc...in the end you are better off getting an already turboed car and tuning it from there.
think i should say someting here. go check out RUF,Alpina, Gemballa,Brabus. these are but a few german 'tuners'. they are certified by the TUV(german automotive testing body) to be 'manufacturers. And they offer warranty for their products and their power enhancements ususally meet euro and US emissions standards.Originally posted by The Twins:Even if someone had done the paperwork and tests before, LTA will still amke you go through it seperately, emission test is the most difficult to pass, you need a good engine management and tuning etc...in the end you are better off getting an already turboed car and tuning it from there.
