Picanto scores better in cuteness, and better FC than Getz (when comparing manual Pica to auto Getz, and i think even if compared to manual Getz... correct me if i'm wrong here.)...

In Singapore, ya, everyone look down on Kelisa. Even workshop who supposingly known for their worksmanship also give sloppy job. Even in Malaysia, some are the same too, human natural! Anyway, if I tell you Kelisa can makan Getz1.3 and Picanto anytime, you believe? If getting Getz, get the 1.6 manual version. Think at least the FC circle around 11kpl. But of course if engine isn't what it is all about, then I think I will go for Picanto, cause I still like manual cars more. -
There's not much choice between KIA and Hyundai. Both cars are pretty much the same: 1300cc, hatchbacks etc.
See what is your technical preference. Whichever wins out gets your vote. Note that the FC for both are not as good for a 1.3 though. -

i drive Kelisa Auto when i'm in Malaysia, until got my OPC Getz.
For my experience from Kelisa, 3 years, is a powerful car with good pickup, even loaded with 4 adults. Fuel consumption is pretty good, city driving for 2 days, (roughly 100km) just around RM10(RM1.51/litre). -

I will go for the Kia Picanto even though the built quality for Kia may not be on par with Jap. But comparing with Malaysian cars, the Kia Picanto is so much better in terms of style and built quality.

You own 1 or drove it before? Carsurvey are just a place that gathers opinion from everyone, so the review is still very much anyone's opinion. Anyway, good for you if you like Picanto. As for Kelisa, not recommended for those scare of tight spaces. Actually it is about 1 foot narrower than most cars (<1.6). Anyway, I am short and have no intention to be ferryman. -

I am still considering to get PICANTO or GETZ... both seems fine to me, except PICANO's window is manual wind down type. & it is better to get a weekend car? (red number plate)
