Dream on in another 10 yrs... MY PM has said KL will stop subsidising petrol eventually by raising petrol prices similar to like SGOriginally posted by huoye:its still much cheaper den SG by alot since a full tank is 50litres
Even MY govt now wants SG govt to continue impose this...Originally posted by Bloop...:Off topic a bit, but I have to say. I think that 3/4 tank rule is just f*cking stupid!
What happened to free trade and consumer choice???
If petrol here so bloody expensive, then its my choice to go across the causeway to top-up!!!
Govt suppose to protect the people and their rights. Over here they just protect their own pockets.
Bloody hell!!!
Go JB shopping first lahOriginally posted by Saggice:ya lor... if there is need to be 3/4 tank.
then wats the point of going in JB to pump petrol, u r only earning that 1/4 tank.
somemore the to and fro journey will waste petrol too.
You are definitely right men.But we first have to protect our govt so they can protect us mah!!!! So we spend a lot $$ here then they r rich and no woory then they will "plan" on how to "protect" or"squeeze" us. and BTw free trade to their benefits not ours, so wat can we do???LL loh.......Originally posted by Bloop...:Off topic a bit, but I have to say. I dun think such things will happen. Wat if the person is on a busines trip to KL?? Does it means that he will have to push the car back to Singapore??Originally posted by sbst275:Dun just think of SG govt side...
MY govt is going to ban SG cars from pumping petrol in MY
i go in top up 1/4 very alternate days. Each time spent abt RM25, in a week i spent abt RM80 topping up petrol there. RM 25=SGD 11 how much can $11 fill locally? the gauge dont even move. if u do it more often, u will actually find u r saving a lot. Btw, i stay woodlands.Originally posted by Saggice:ya lor... if there is need to be 3/4 tank.

Very likely they will make foreign car to pay unsubisided price, which is similar to SG...Originally posted by Praetorian111:I dun think such things will happen. Wat if the person is on a busines trip to KL?? Does it means that he will have to push the car back to Singapore??
If MY govt really impose a ban, there will be pple who will still sell in black market. Or even MY plate cars driving to spore to sell off 3/4 of his tank before returning to MY.
This is quite hard to control... If I did not remember wrongly they actually imposed a law against sg registered cars stating that sg cars are not allowed to pump more than 20litres of petrol. This was a few yrs back.
hmm... these are the time where pub are most hot..... do you?Originally posted by FireIce:weekdays between 1-4am
