I'm looking at best value-for-money so I think it's ok to compare the 2.Originally posted by tailslide:now, dats a strange comparison.
both cars made by the same manufacturer targetted at different groups of ppl with distinctively different needs in life.think hyundai designers deserve 2 be fired if one fine day ppl finally decide 2 choose their cars according 2 the pricing instead of their lifestyle needs.

den ask urself how long will it be before ur long term needs outgrows ur current. if the pain in terms of the money (depreciation, downpayment, interests) u are gonna lose over this period outweighs ur current desire 2 buy the getz, u'd be better off buying the matrix in the first place.Originally posted by F Takumi:I'm actually targeting Getz but then "Hey! Matrix is bigger and only slightly more expensive".
Getz is what I want now but Matrix could meet my long term need.
Strange, why are you not satisfied with your toyota trueno Ae86?Originally posted by F Takumi:Which one would you choose and why? Their prices are almost the same now ...
I'm unable to forecast my long term needs so I'll most probably go for OPC Getz.Originally posted by tailslide:den ask urself how long will it be before ur long term needs outgrows ur current. if the pain in terms of the money (depreciation, downpayment, interests) u are gonna lose over this period outweighs ur current desire 2 buy the getz, u'd be better off buying the matrix in the first place.
IMO, the matrix is a turn off for 2 reasons. one of the ugliest mini mpvs on the road coupled with horrendous fc.
running in my new car, getting 9.++km/litreOriginally posted by F Takumi:What is the fuel consumption for Getz? My friend told me it's around 7 to 9 km, which is low.
It's really low ... Average for car should be 12km.Originally posted by hp28:running in my new car, getting 9.++km/litre
average should be 12-9
Is it true that Hyundai cars have high fuel consumption?Originally posted by Dr Who:........matrix 1.8..........no complaints except 8.9 km per litre...........but bo pien......big family......
heard toyota vios gives you very good fuel consumption......
So far none of their cars suggest otherwise. At least Kia have Picanto. I think the best hyundai car in term of FC would be accent. With about 13kpl.Originally posted by F Takumi:Is it true that Hyundai cars have high fuel consumption?
Drove a Matrix 1.6 Manual before, got about 11km/l.Originally posted by Saggice:matrix sucks petrol...
