manual cars, lower resale value?

  Hi bros.. let's compare a Subaru WRX and maybe a Subaru Legacy.. Both of them are about the same price in the market.. $92k +/-...
  
  WRX = manual and Legacy = auto... Let's say both of them have the same OMV value and stuff, which car will have a higher resale value?
  
  Resale and Scrap value will be different too?

  manual will be always cheaper then auto but rex and legacy are 2 diff cars so will have diff values.

  If you want to compare between manual and auto resale value, then you should compare using similar cars like maybe a Sunny Manual and a Sunny Auto. Why compare WRX and Legacy which are two different cars? With such a comparison, people will not usually consider transmission as a big issue. WRX is a performance car therefore manual will be more appropriate whereas Legacy is a family car therefore auto will be more appropriate.

  When u buy an auto car issit more expensive compare to one with manual?
  ( Considering the same carmake with diff gearbox)
  In additional, sad to say that manual is not well sort after nowadays as more prefer the usage of one with auto gear.

  It really depends on the make of the car then. Usually, an auto car will cost more but the difference is not really that significant as compared to a manual car. Of course there are exceptions like the RX8 where you have the manual version priced more than the automatic version.
