the knn fliter i see became black colour...& worst part is got engin oil..wat had happen?Anything gonna break soon?

Anyway, did you see it before installation? What I notice is it is black in nature, plus the oily feel is a treatment to the filter to maximise its use. Do look up who you clean the filter, it will mention oiling it. -

Is the K& N filter, i bought myself, fix myself...K&N is lik reddish liver colour when new...only use max 2 yrs...
but after feel no power, jus think want to clean fliter, i @@...filter become black colour...yet got the engine oil...i dun really oil it much..so where the hell did all those oil come from?? -

u drive 2 years never wash of course turn black liao lah! dat means the filter is doing its job of trapping all the dust particles b4 it enters ur engine! if its the same color as new, then i think u better worry coz all the dirt now inside ur engine! the "oiliness" probably comes from the original KNN oil dat comes with the filter. now feels like engine oil coz mixed with dirt and dust liao. mine use 6 months only start 2 turn black, urs 2 years even more dun need 2 say.
juz wash, dry and re-oil ur knn and it'll be as good as new. dun need to waste money buy another KNN. it says "rewashable" rite?

Cos tat before night i at "shanghai" pop many rubbish, drink till bit drunk....drive home , felt lik no power,then reach home carpark, open bonnet & see y all black colour & got oil drip out...tat point in time no thinking power....
Also dunno y keep think te fliter if for the intercooler...as if intercooler got oil mean turbo shaft break, suck engin oil into intercooler & then the knn fliter it lor..hahaha
when i wake up, mind still cannot think , jus go buy new then..sleep again..when wake up, then.."Hey", y i so idiot go buy new one..hahaha
then my friend all laugh at me say i cannot eat so much rubbish when go drinking..will come out many rubbish of car no power, here break there break...lolx...

knn filter can use for 10 yrs no need to change one. just wash every two years and re oil can already haha knn
