Sports Springs

Hi...
Two day back i had my sports spring change for my CB model Lancer in JB. I changed my spings as i had some funny noise from my rear compartment, when ppl sit at my rear seats. I hear this funny Screeching noise, So i thought it might be my springs. I changed the all springs to a new brand named GRAB.
When i came back to singapore the noise became worse and my car sounded like an old bus when driving even without passengers.
I went back to the shop today and the boss told me that all my brushes are new as i changed them a month ago and and my supension is also good as new.
When the boss test drived my car there was no sound, so he told me as the springs are new they might give such noise for two or three days.
Driving back home the noise sounded again and it is very interminant and i don know weather the springs the boss sold me have some problems or weather i should wait for a week for wat for the noise to disappear.
Does any one had such stuff happen to their car?

[/b][/quote]my car 1 yr old only n, sometimes i got this screeching sound when i go over a hump. interminant problems very hard to rectify, it take lots of effort n timee lor. be patient.....

check urself first lah!! like see whether the tyres have any clearance from the mudguard, or body parts. or any of the parts touching with wheels when have passengers.
u said u changed springs before, so they might be lo profile type but not stiffer ones, and didn't installed properly, or shock absorbers are still soft type, so have wheels scratching when heavy.
changed springs for scratching sound??? u might as well donate that money. -
r ur tyres rubbing against ur fender? maybe u change to lowering spring then when pasenger sit the fender rubs against ur tyres.

Was the ride height changed enough that you need to change the wheel's camber?

Ya... i finally solved my problem " i hope so". Today i spend my whole day (as i could not be patient) in the workshop finding out wat could be the problem with my car, Guess wat it the Arm brush with a little crack in it causing the big screeching noise.
Wat surpised me is the Arm Brush is somewhere near to my fuel tank but i hear noise towards my top of my rear supension where my right hand side passenager would sit. Very funny!!!
Anyway i don hear screeching noise when i drove back home, Hopefully i would not hear it again. Thanks to my ARM BRUSH!!

U are true, i could have donated my money cause today i found its not the spring, it was one of my ARM BRUSH with a little crack in it..
