Peugeot 407-Hear of any problem?

Comtemplating on the purchase of the 407.
Any one, owner or otherwise, hear of any problems associated?
The 2004 batch has fogger problems which it had been resolved.
Anyone has any grivences?

i've driven french car for more than 10yrs. they are great to drive, but also comes with lots of little nagging issues. I remember going to the garage every two three months during the 9th n 10th years of ownership !! things might have changed since then, but friends who have bought french three years back stilll face a lot of reliablity issue.
for the 407, you might want to wait n see a while more. from my past experience, its not that they are unwilling to resolve the problem, but just that there are so few cars in our climate that they do not have ready info on the source of the issue. -

I was at the Leng Kee showroom the last weekend and I must say the 407 looks nice. Apart from the sporty styling, the cabin had adequate room to fit 5 for a longer journey. It has also a 5 star EuroNCAP rating which is excellent and also to highlight the ESP which has ASR traction control, VSC, EBA and ABS included. It was a pity that the boot was very small compared to other cars in that category.
I believe residuals for Peugeot in general are not favourable although the salesperson was trying real hard to convince me otherwise. I was also told that there might be a possibility that the Ubi Centre might shut down and move its operations to Leng Kee instead to better serve customers. However, that would be a real problem to people living in the east like myself if I were to have a Peugeot sent for servicing. -
From what i heard about the 407, it is underpowered. but IMO i think the car is one nice looking machine. love the grille and taillights... woo.
