Comparison of Honda Accord, Camry or Cefiro

Can give comparison on them or suggestion of cars of the same range, my friend is looking for one, but not sure which is good.

mondeo for handling
sonata for lower loan amount -

overtrade meaning they buy/trade your previous car at a higher price compared to other car dealers. the list price of the new car is to compensate for the high price they buy your old car.
for example.
Camry: $90k
Accord: $95k
your paper value of your car is $50k.
borneo motors probably give you $55k for your car.. but kah motors will give u $56-$60k extra..
it would seem that they giving u better value because they give you higher $$ for ur car..

i was just giving an example of the price.. IF it was the 2.4 camry and 2.4 accord..

It all depends on which department u r looking.
The above conclusion is base on all the previous track I read from the forum, have not try any of the above car before

I think it's a common misconception that most think Toyota equal good FC, but that's not the case, especially not with the thai-made Altis, Camry or even the Picnics.
Do not decide just based on the G9 Corolla exceptional FC. -
I particularly like the Accord best although I have never driven the Camry before. The Accord is like a driver's car imo. Cockpit has a nice layout and centre console has the best functionality and looks great. It has a dual climate control as well. However, it was disappointing that the Accord did not come with rear air con vents like the other 2. Handling was quite good with little body roll and the engine could be revved until 5000-6000rpm without much problem.

i noticed the power kicks in at higher rpm... but otherwise for pickup..etc.. its quite slow. the FC is quite high also...cos dad imported it from the U.S (ahah, the benefits of working for kah motors) and the chasis is slightly bigger than normal accords... so maybe it explains the FC? -

i believe ur generation of accord (same as my current camry 2.2) does not really have good FC.. maybe at that point of time for that technology, it is considered quite good. I am on shell98, $95-$100 for a full tank and i travel only about 450-470km. Whereas, the newer camry/accord/mazda6/ and even the cefiro for its known 'reputation' for drinking petrol can do much better than my current camry..
bigger chasis doesnt mean heavier also, smaller chasis can be as heavy too..
IMHO,
Camry = Reliable car, relatively powerful (enough for overtaking blah blah), value for $, It's more for passengers..
Accord = Reliable car (i still prefer toyota on reliablity though), powerful, but its 2.4, higher tax and insurance. It's a driver's car.
Cefiro = Reliability... Hmmm... (I wouldn't comment because of other nissan owners here.. might start a 'war'). FC is high (nissan badges never low..). It's a car for passengers as well..
I've test driven quite a few sedans. Seriously speaking, I prefer the accord compared to the rest.
Maybe you can consider Subaru Legacy or Mazda5/6 as well.. -

there iare 2 important parts that u are missing here...
the engine size..cos it does matter..when you are comparing these few cars...
Honda 2.4 , Cefrio 2.3 , Camry 2.4 ?
yeah..also got the 2.0L...for all three cars...( honda just came in...)
my dad owns the 2.0L Cefrio...to be honest...very nice interior...drive is good...but the "pick up is very slow" n FC is quite bad....
very thirsty...
also you can consider JDM - Accord Euro ....or type R.
that one confirm very FIRECE n FAST...

my dad's one is from last year..new model...bought quite $$$ over 110..i think...
but price has gone down quite a bit lately...
to be honest..i dun know much about the Accord JDM model but definitely looks much better than Thailand one...
but u really gotta think seriously if u wana get JDm...cos no warranty from Kah Motors...although JDM price is very competitive... around 90K ? for a 2.0L???
if got "problems" eg..seat belt, engine...Kah Motors will not ask u during the "call back"...
there is always a "danger" of import cars...
but in any case...the final decision lies wif u.
All three cars are very "family / Ah Pek"....except Accord JDM model..
all reliable...n the standards are there....cos they have a long history behind them.....
but i have seen b4..2 diff Cerfrio ( New models ) with Body Kits...
quite " Beng! happening n cool!"....

Mazda 6 is very sporty lookin...esp if u get Sports 6. (2.3L) n get some basic bodykits...shoudl not be too $$$...
drawback? - too many on the roads..but that can also means it is good...
cos numbers are a statement that they are good..that is why many people are buying them!
Legacy ( new model) definitely looks cool!
better if u can get TURBO version!!!
.....they are "quite rare" on the roads compared to other models...
but i have not test drive it b4....so u gotta ask around others whether it is really a good car or not.....

to 12km/l depending on driving style. the light footed ones getting jus pass 10km/l while most get sub 10s cos driving style tends to be more aggresive for accord.
looks like in terms of fc, prob. camry is better, but only slightly -
story.. ask ur friend if he prefers a driver's car or a passenger car..
from there you can help him decide too
