Of course we are talking about our own cars!!!Originally posted by bunny2002sg:^If the car is not yours, then will it considered stupid to clean it up for the owner at no cost?
everyday? dont see why you need to clean the car everyday, unless you are a regular smoker in the car.Originally posted by dimaster:Here is a simple 3 steps for everyday routine :-
1) Wipe your interior of car everyday with a wet tissue (those that is popularly used by babies) after you start your engine and before moving off - (5min job)
What about water mark, tree sap, road tar, and paint marks etc...you only mentioned cleaning bird dropping, what about the rest of the car? How you clean the car does play a big part in maintain the car shine and minimizing the swirl marks. I suggest regular simple waxing as the best prevention to all these.Originally posted by dimaster:2) Inspect car exterior and look out for irritating bird's dropping, wipe them off with a wet tissue followed by a dry grooming cloth (those that car wash usually use... and it is in disgusting orange... ha) - (3 min)
Do you happen to work at the construction site? Isnt it more practical for you to dust your shoes before stepping into the car. Btw, do you clean your bed every morning after waking up? if not why border so much about the floor mat..??Originally posted by dimaster:3) At the end of the day, remove / dust your interior carpet and wipe car again before your off the engine and call it a day -(5 min)
I am sure there will be no stain, but pretty sure there willl be tons of scratch mark. How can you actually buff a car when it is dusty and dirty?Originally posted by skysurfer:Hi there,
Just to share, I have been using No-Wet waterless car care to maintain my car for a few month already. It is an all-in-one that can be used for the entire car ; car body, windscreen, leather seats, dash board, rims etc so it is very convenient.
There is a review on No-wet via this link, and it seems that it has been voted as the product of the month :

Anyway, if you just search No-wet via the internet, you can find a lot of info on it too.
Another plus is that it even have a protective seal against acid rain, water mark, bird droppings etc. Once I deliberately left a bird dropping over night, and the next day, it cleans off easy with just a wet tissue and walla, there was no marking at all!
It is very easy to apply - just spray, wipe and buff to a showroom shine. I do not even need to wash the car in advance but rather, spray No-Wet directly onto the car even when it is dusty and dirty.
Now I no longer need to "chop" washing bay over the weekend, bring barang barang such as pail, sponge, cloth, different bottles of wash and wax, glass cleaner, leather protection chemical etc. No-Wet is all I use.
I always keep the No-Wet micro-mist Applicator and cloth in my boot and will just spray and wipe certain parts of the car whenever I feel like it - any place, any time.
The interesting fact is that it has been around and perfected since 1994, available in 15 different countries all over the world, but it is only now in Asia/ Singapore.
Try it and if you have any questions, I will be happy to share my experience on using No-Wet.
hey dude, I am just stating the fact that what you have mentioned has got nothing to do with grooming, but rather cleaning. Those $450 session or package that you mentioned are definitely different from what you are doing all together, so I think it is important that you get your facts right before trying to preach about grooming here.Originally posted by dimaster:Hi Thanks Skysurfer... great tips and sure will be helpful if you could give some leads to all the car lovers out there, whereabout to lay our hands on these... NO WET applicators...
And for Gazalle... cool it! Everyone has got their own ways of cleaning their cars and it is really tips that we are sharing.
And in case, you are too thick... when we mean sharing, we meant... you take it and apply if it suits you and if you don't agree, leave it. No need for criticism or sacarsam. (Tip: If you are really such a sad case dying to be critical and be heard, start another topic and do so...)
Cheers

I have also heard of the no wet thingy, at first thought it is a kind of power thing. Would have try to find it if I haven't spend S$100 on a zaino detailing service. Car so shine now I don't even dare to wash it, scare damage the protection.
