Killer on road!

just now i was on my way home on the BKE/PIE i saw this taxi in front of me swerving left and right on the left most lane. after that he was driving on the road shoulder.
i think he realized so he straddle between 2 lanes and his cab continue to swerve left and right. in front of him on the 2 lanes was a bus and a car and guess what?!
he tried to squeeze in between the 2 vehicles!! pure madness. after this we filtered out to PIE from BKE and it was a left turn and he nearly struck the barrier at the turn! he nearly oversteered.
when i overtook the cabbie guess what i saw?
HE WAS FRIGGING SLEEPING!!
an old uncle driver driving with his eyes closed! i was wondering if i shd inform the respective taxi company but i didn't managed to take note of his plate. -

You are not alone... i have made a complaint about a reckless taxi driver on the 8 August to three different organisations. LTA (Bus & Taxi) - We would like to inform you that driving behaviour comes under the purview of the Traffic Police
Comfort - We will conduct investigation to the complaint and reply to you on the outcome within 2-3 weeks.
Police - We will forward your report to OC traffic violation
I guess the only thing now I could do is to wait for their reply............... -
Well, I reported a reckless taxi driver 2 months back and no news... somemore, report at police station...

No point complaining lah,all they said is they will investigate and discipline will be taken if the driver is found at fault.
So how transparent is the investigation,i complain a taxi driver b4,guess what,they want me to go down to the coy to testify him,if they pay me i dun mind and who will be so free to do that,better spend more times on constructive issue.
suggest some volunteer to take video cam and take down all this reckless act of all this bastrad and show it live on tv,then the coy will wake up their F***ing idea. -

I would never want to be a passenger in that idiot's taxi. If I had ridden in his vehicle, I will refuse to pay the fare no matter what. My life is in his hands, and he could have caused me great harm.

if u happen to be the pax stop the taxi and get out of danger never if it is along the highway.......... life is precious......

I ever took a cab where the driver fell asleep... luckily it was a short trip only... Katong to Bedok... He nodded off on at the traffic light and you could see his driving was weaving a bit in his lane...
I actually had to tell him that the traffic light had changed to green. He apologized and told me that it was cos of the 2 egg roti pratas and one tosai he ate for lunch... hai~...
I told him to go to the nearby car park to sleep it off first... -
it's really damn dangerous if you see the way he drove.

You know, it's peculiar; if you break the law on the road or in anything else, the authorities can be on your case in a split second. But when you report some crime or dangerous act on our roads, you'd get the "merry-go-round" treament and they appear to drag their asses in getting round to your report.

Seems like not onli the cabby is sleping, the mata is oso sleping. Complain oso no outcome...

other than complaining to the authorities and the relevant companies, write letters to the ST forum, and in particular, post the cab's plate number to warn others to avoid the cabbie. that should wake the person up.
