i got the plate but i don't have the thing that use to stick it up
and i can't use masking tape or ani other tape, cause i need to
keep changing cars so it very troublesome.
anione know where to buy that stick thing ?? -

Maybe u take the wheel during family outings or something? when she's convinced and confident of ur driving.. i believe u can get hold of the car in no time.......

count yourself lucky. i had mine more than a year ago. i only can drive myself about a mth ago. and till now, i always have a 2230 curfew when ever i go out with the car..

Soem pedestrian also need P plate on their heads.
Friday evening... was being driven along a 2 lane 2 way traffic... this old malay women gelak gelak walk across near a traffic junction (she was not even attempting to use that junction) when the red man was on. its alright but she walk damn slow, its ok she gelek and all that - who does not jay walk. Then she stop in the middle of the road and look towards opposite site that she had crossed from... and seem to be looking at something/someone and almost wanted to shout something across... She stood right there waving away as if she owns the whole damn road ... we saw her, I said horn her. If there's a car behind speeding (which is common on that particular street), she'd be dead by now! What a Stupid road user .. Really asking to meet her maker earlier.
I say she Needs a P-Plate on her forehead -

one of my distant fren, die on the actual day he pass the licence what do u think ?
He got his licence in the morning abt 11am.
And 2am he lost control of his car and die on his way to hospital...
So take care lor.. anyway isn't it also gd.. seldom drive on 1st yr and accumulate the 24pts ?
Heard from my ex-instructor someone pass the licence 1week and lost the licence back to TP a week later.. dnt noe how true ? heh... -
thats why i still have my p plate in the car. so i can literally wind down my window and throw the p plate at them...

very good tool u know.. u can slowly drive.. cut lane pple most of the time pple will give way..
parking.. take own sweet time.. won feel so paiseh.. ;p -

There is totally no point to get a license and dun use it if u have a car at home. Yes ur probation will be over after 1 yr but if u never drive during that 1 yr... den i dun know what will happen if u start to drive when ur probation is over. Pple will not give face liao after the triangle is off.
Well suggest to ur mum to sit beside u loh while u drive... take over the wheel for short errands or trips... however must be skill lah... after ur mum feel comfortable with ur driving... most prob she will change her mind... u must convince her!
On the other hand if u showed her ur unskilled driving.. perhaps it will make it worst... so before u ask her to sit beside u... do be sure u can drive safely hor.
Wah i kinda felt lucky... bleahz... i drove my dads car the very day i passed... he did sat beside me for just once loh. However my case different lah... i been driving army vehicles before i got my cv license so perhaps my parents are more confident ...

it's really normal for any one to really want to drive the moment after they had gotten their licence.. hey, u had paid so much $$ and had waited so long for the moment to pass.. i was like that too, and fortunately i have my dad's van and i could only drive with him next to me, for the first few months...
yes i love cars and i enjoy driving.. but months later i realise: for a P-plate it could be stressful at times... For instance, dash thru a red light and 12 pts is gone... and it could simply not be intentional -- the light changed too fast.
Some more not to forget.. during L-plate we drove not more than 50+kmh. That's a hell lot of difference when u r going at 80kmh, un-assisted on a public road with real traffic interaction.. that could be scary at first.. tat's y it could be dangerous when u r new...
All parents are naturally concerned with their child... eh, they feed the child for 18, 19 yrs but he could be gone in seconds. Take things slowly, wait for a chance (when a vehicle is available) to show her your driving (preferly sundays coz traffic is lesser, easier to handle. And go real slow, as if it's a 2nd TP test) , and over time she will be less worried....
anyway, despite that i will be removing my P-plate in 58 days, i'm still learning. -

i got my license for near 4 yrs liao. untill the 2nd yr my p plate still pasted on the car lor... lazy to take out.
some more got advantage... ppl more likely to give way lor... and shun far far from you. can have more space to move.
i only took it down because my mum hand itchy go and broke the part where the sticky stuff is at.
so bo bian took it down. ar bo untill now i also dun wan to take it down.
