To be honest if the tester want to fail u , there is nothing u can do. Just got to accept it as it is unfortunately whatever they say is final.Originally posted by sicbastard:Failed my 1st TP test yesterday at bbdc but the thing is I was driving perfectly fine. Even during my trial run, the instructor from bbdc said that I have a high percentage in passing. I cleared the circuit without any "mishap" but after going out doing the test route, at one point after making a u-turn, I didn't keep to the left as the test route requires me to turn right at the next junction after the u-turn but the tester just kept mum. I asked the tester if we're supposed to turn right at the junction where at this point his expression changed & said, "If you want to turn, turn lah!". I told him that this was supposed to be the correct test route in which he replied, "You must listen to me. I say where you just go!" I apologised but after looking at his face, I know I was doomed!
Back at bbdc, the tester gave me alot of excuses like my braking wasn't good enough lah, I failed to check for pedestrian (where during the test route the zebra crossing was clear from any padestrian).... blah blah blah.... Last he said was that I must improved my driving awareness & straight away tick the fail box!
Now I have to wait till Dec for my re-test just because of the one silly mistake. Hopefully I won't be getting the same tester again. If not............![]()
not a bad idea. will try doing it on my next test.....Originally posted by johncooper:aiya ... tell you ... if you scared that the TP accuse you again of not checking blind spots or pedestrian crossing rite? Do wad i did ... speak out what you are doing .... like when you are changing to the right lane then you say 'Right clear' then changing left then 'Left clear' then at zebra crossing you say 'crossing clear' ... like this he sure know wad you are doing and thinking ...
but be prepard to hear the TP say ' Can you please keep your thoughts to yourself?'![]()

went go test, there is no need to remender the route as the tester will tell us when to turn.... so when they say turn right mean right when they say turn left mean turn left, if not, just go straight and keep left.....Originally posted by sicbastard:Failed my 1st TP test yesterday at bbdc but the thing is I was driving perfectly fine. I remember my tp test (Ubi) a loooong time ago. Was driving on Paya Lebar road, and there were many bus stops ON the road. I was keeping left deligently and overtaking when there was a bus stopping at the bus stop and immediaetly kept left again. I kenna deducted 6 or 8 points for driving in a zig-zag manner.Originally posted by XoLoX:Whatever the tester says is final. Besides, L-plate is only supposed to drive on the left, unless turning right or doing U-turn. Do you know that L-plate is not even allowed to overtake a moving vehicle? At least, this was what I was told by my instructor.
"Do you think you can drive better than the qualified driver?" he asked me. I just wanted to tell him that the car in front was too slow (20km/h).
But I had no choice, then. Just followed behind and told him I am sorry.![]()
eh. what happened if the testor zzz while u were on the road? i drive myself, signal and go back the driving centre. occasionally, he will wake up and say turn left upon hearing the signal sound. before i can stop my car after reaching back to cdc, he open the door and shouted stop. but he still passed me . b4 i left, i saw him changed to singlet and playing table tennis.Originally posted by zheshi:Anyway the testing has the right to change the route ... my instructer tell me dun be kpo and ask tester.. if he keep slient .. just go straight...i believe u have been brief before correct ? i have been told by countless time during my training ...
