modification for hyundai matrix gls 1.6

  hi
  
  anyone can tell me how to further improve performance and save fuel consumption for my hyundai matrix?
  
  i recently did the following
  
  a. have a small fan behind to improve air circulation so that i dont have to switch to air con on full blast
  
  b. had a voltage stabiliser
  
  c. a device to increase air intake for the engine

  I have this feeling that "on" air-con, whether big or small, different isn't much. As long as it is on. Increase air intake, if without adjusting air/fuel ratio of the ECU might raise your FC too!!!
  
  How about looking at rims? Did you change yours?
  
  Have fuel price like that now, I think you focus on FC first over performance.
