  140bhp is quite underpowered for 1.8l...most 1.8l cars on the road have 180bhp at most

  10bhp per 100cc?

  Most ? i believe it only a few dudex.. altis 1.8 is not even 180bhp... i believe u are comparing it with celica SS1? u Dun take a coupe to compare with a sedan car...

  Firstly, I think your last "most" meant "least"
  Secondly, 100 bhp per litre is supposed to be a great 'achievement' liao, and is rare .. like SS2, DOHC EG/EK and Ferraris etc...
  
  Where got most 1.8 car have 180... even Mazda 6 2.0l, supposed to be sporty not even 180 bhp.
