Any reviews from fellow Renault Megane Drivers?

  Dear All,
  
  A colleague of mine is very keen to purchase 1. However we're both very new to Conti-cars. Esp Renaut. Would appreciate fellow renault drivers offering some insights into the car's Pro/Cons. Considering both new or 2nd hand under 3yrs old.

  Personally, I feel that the Renault Megane is probably the best 1.6l sedan one can buy in the Singapore market if you can afford it.
  
  It's safety features and equipment level is very high especially when compared to Japanese competitors while I understand (surprisingly!) that it's fuel economy and performance also ranks up there with the rest.
  
  I should know cos I accompanied my friend to buy one! Look for Eddie at the Bt Timah showroom and say Desmond recommended you. (sorry I don't have his tel no.)
