Thanks for the feedback. Book my colt Plus liao....for 67k with C&C with 2 k rebate if i take loan for 7yrs. It got almost lots of automatic functions and is one of few that has a 6gear CVT and MIVEC engine. Altough performance wise is unmatchable to my SIR but consider good for a 1.5l car.
Have to say bye bye to my Cvic SIR soon. Really unbearable to let go after 7 yrs but no choice....... sigh.....
All things have to come to the end...... But my sales in C&C really not bad give me lots of freebies more than i expected....anyone want to buy Mitsubishi cars I can recommend him.....although he is not really not good in sales talk but i see he as done his best in all those freebies......... and also give me another $500 for my SIR scrape value......

Tested Colt Plus turbo only slighty better than ori version so i feel not veri worth it....

I agreed with Jonathan, altho I am new here. Having read your point of view regarding Mit. Colt Plus. I decided to be a member here sharing my "pains" about this fellow car.
67k for a colt plus is definitely not worth it. With this amount, you have a lot of better options but not a 1.5 or 1.4 cars. I regretted buying this car as it is "so problematic" from the day one I received it. Mine at 65k...
I tekan the salesman like hell in LengKee one, guess his name is Daniel something. He is very nua, go ahead suck his blood if you are those buay paisei type. Cuz with that amount, i had my colt plus exactly like a turbo version of plus version but diff. engine, of course...light weight sport rims, body kit, tinted windows, 3rd party cut sunroof, petrol voucher, etc. In fact, i waited for 2 months to receive my rims.
Within this 2 months, this car does not perform like the one that i tested. Seated with full passg. is totally disappointed. Mivec engine roar like hell but claw like tortise. Gear 6 is even worst....i wonder why they design 6 gears for this car. If you are toking about petrol consumption, haiz... 8~9k/lit with light weight rims some more.
Tok about the "boot door", it spoilt after a week which I have manually close it. Leg room pretty jia lat for a 170cm tall man like me. Now my gear box started to "clak clak claking", and i have no idea if pple said Mit. gear box problem is true or not.
If i never owned this car, i would prefer to spend my money on civic, mazda, nissan or the cheaper altis. Regretted man....at least i dont think 67k for colt plus worth it. No wonder didnt see many of them on the road.
In fact, in terms of power - i like the turbo version. I tested it twice. U gonna try it with manual mood and you will feel the power. That's all for me, i hope i can sell it as soon as i can but still few more years to go.... sianz... -

so have post this eailer...... ya lor seldom see on the road.. .BTW is your light weight RIMS 16" or more as it will consume more fuel becos of the increase of the Turning radius of the wheel..... Did u send in for warranty for your problems?... My sales is also Daniel ... -
15"Rims i guess. I explained my problems to them during my 1st svc, but it seems like they care more about regular maintenance items unless my car breakdown....
anyway, i may be just unlucky or what, good luck to you. I should have considered Altis or Mazda in the first place.... -
Just back from Mit. Svr Ctr, confirm got gear box problem. Pending for replacement if it get worse. IF IT GET WORSE.... means i am going to suffer with this problem until something inside there spoil.
Sianz... especially the COE dropped again. -
kingkong hope u get ur gearbox prob solved soon. and hope u enjoy ur ride. btw i haf tried to avoid CVT transmission. e technology is rather new and not so reliable. cheers

But its really a bad experience to got a bad quality car in the first place... A few of my friends is driving Mit cars but all are doing fine. Most of them have the cars for more than 3 years. Maybe u can try to pressurise C&C to do all the repairs for u since it is their QC fault or escalate to their higher level....Better still knock on their GM's door.... 
Like Latio, Colt has a lighter aluminium engine that can save on fuel and the one i tested works fine with 5 passagers including me ..... as for the FC i beliieve ur RIM is the 16" one as C&C only have that for wat i know. 15" light weight is oni 1 to 1.5kg difference......
A lot of people just feel that a 1.5l should be cheaper than those 1.6l cars. If that is so, than ask them to buy a Lorry better lor.... Next time they laugh at u, ask them if they can afford or bear to afford........

I do not agree with you. Even though without those minor faults, I think 65k for colt plus is kinda ex. I was probably acttracted by those free bies...
If u got the same problems as me, and happen to see the GM. Please let me know. I wish to tell him off too. -
I wont buy an expensive 1.5 than 1.6, at least i am the one. I owned Corolla last time. In fact 1.6 still better than 1.5, i think.

Am sad to know that kingkong_1234 had such an experience with ur CP. No CP owner in our forum had such problems on their ride, on the other hand, alot of member are eager to get their CP. Maybe u can posted ur queries in our forum and we can try our upmost ability to help in ur problems.
As for handgunner, great to know that u choose CP over other makes. Do log on to our forum to read up on any enhancement or maintenance tips for ur CP.

how did u come across tat it crawl like tortoise? did u actually test drive it? u r aware it has a CVT engine which btw is not exactly gg to give u the omph in terms of pickup. with CVT, u hv to b lightfooted.
MIVEC does not kick in when u rev immediately. it goes something like 3.5K rpm.
I wun b surprised if u get only 8-9km/l on the initial run in. try to be gentle n patient with it, and u will b rewarded. it has a newer engine then previous model so FC will b better.

but just to tell u, things can b resolved thru the right channel. -
my mum bought the first gen colt ....and within 30mins she told us she shld have bought the suzuki liana(nvm whether is it good or not)
it seems the problems with the engine remains with the colt plus
when we drove off a slope, my dad always complain abt the high revs of the engine and the car barely moves an inch...

It is not that I dont like my car, just that her behavior and problems really upset me a lot.
Within 30mins she had made such a decision, so kiang..... really ying siong shuo jian lei tong "heroes share the same view"
To me 20K is dui, 3k also dui....
